The Matte Liquid Lipstick has high intensity pigment for an instant bold matte lip. The extremely long wearing lipstick contains moisturizing ingredients for a comfortable, emollient and silky feel that does not dry your lips out.
My Experience with Kylie Cosmetics Matte Liquid Lipstick All Nighter:
Packaging: The packaging of Kylie Cosmetics Birthday Collection Liquid Lipstick is utterly beautiful. The liquid lipstick comes in a pretty matte baby pink tube with the signature lipstick dripping. The name Kylie is mentioned on the side of the tube. The bottom of the tube specifies the name – “All Nighter.” The tube has a matte baby pink cap. The applicator is a standard doe-foot type.
Texture and Application: The texture of “All Nighter” liquid lipstick is very thin and liquid-y. The lipstick applies easily on the lips and spreads evenly. The lipstick does not apply patchily. It dries down to a velvety matte finish within a few seconds once you apply on to the lips, so if there are any errors during application, you can easily correct it. The doe-foot applicator makes it easy to fill in the corners of the lips with ease. There is a sweet cupcake fragrance to the lipstick. The fragrance is not very strong and disappears within minutes of application. Once the lipstick dries down, it provides a smudge-proof and budge-proof finish. It is advisable to exfoliate your lips to achieve flawless finish. The lipstick doesn’t dry my lips for around 4 hours. However, after the 4 to 5-hour mark, you do feel the dryness on the lips. This is an issue with most of the other liquid lipsticks out there, but I feel, considering the price, the formula could have been a bit better like the Dose of Colors lipstick. I apply a lip balm prior to my application and after removing the lipstick.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The lipstick is super pigmented and super opaque. It gives a full coverage even if the lips are pigmented.
Shade and Finish: “All Nighter” is described as a ‘bright red coral’ and it is indeed a very beautiful reddish pink coral shade. This colour will complement most of the Indian skin tones. The lip colour is a perfect for special occasions. The finish of the lipstick is super matte.
Staying Power: The staying power is really good with this lipstick. It stays on for around 7 hours without the need to reapply. However, it will start to fade if you eat oily meals. It does stain my lips pink. You can also easily do touch ups. Overall, I am really happy with the colour pay off, the texture and the longevity of the lipstick. The lipstick can be easily removed with an oil-based makeup remover.
