Today’s review will be on one of the most anticipated liquid lipsticks from Kylie cosmetics. Recently, Kylie came out with her fall collection including four shades. The ones that grabbed my attention were “Spice” and “Pumpkin.” The shade that I will be reviewing today is “Pumpkin.”

Pumpkin is a dirty mid-tone orange. The Liquid Matte Lipstick has high intensity pigment for an instant bold matte lip. The extremely long wearing lipstick contains moisturizing ingredients for a comfortable, emollient and silky feel that does not dry your lips out.
My Experience with Kylie Pumpkin Matte Liquid Lipstick:
This Kylie liquidl ipstick comes housed in transparent, glass-type tube. The name of the brand is written in black font and shade name is mentioned at the bottom of the tube.
The applicator is a small doe-foot applicator which offers precise application.
Unlike the lip pencil, I don’t like the formulation of her liquid lipstick. It has a very thin, liquid-y formula, and it’s highly pigmented. It offers full coverage in a single swipe.
The shade “Pumpkin” is a stunning burnt orange shade with brown undertones and would look good on everyone. Pumpkin glides effortlessly on the lips and does not go patchy or streaky on the lips. Till the application, everything wowed me, but the problem started after the the color dried down.
When the lipstick dries down, it settles into the fine lines of my lips and makes lips very dry. It literally sucks moisture out of my lips. Not only this, if you try to build it up with a second layer, it looks cakey and patchy. One thing that was impressive was that this does not transfer on to glasses when I drink water, but it does fade a little on the inside with meals. It also doesn’t feel sticky or tacky on the lips.
I get 8 to 9 hours of wear time, leaving a stain behind. Like every other liquid lipstick, even with this, you have to scrub your lips before applying the lipstick. Trust me, when I say that! It was hard to take this off my lips, it might be a plus or a minus depending on personal preference, but the best way to take if off is by using olive oil or almond oil.
