I think I am having a good luck streak with exfoliators of late.*touchwood*. I have had my eye on this product ever since it came out. But I got around to trying it only now. Let me say that I absolutely LOVE it.

Ughhhh..yes, Frieda Pinto is a brand ambassador for L’Oreal!! Although this is only ad I have seen of hers.

L’Oreal Claims:

Go 360 clean deep facial bring you the very first scrublet, this super soft flexible cleaning disc applies the cleanser with 500 extra supple touch points that glide gently across the skin. The cleanser formula activates on contact to create high-foaming lather which goes deep into pores, unclogging them and gently removing traces of dirt , oil and makeup in every last pore , crease and crevice.

It is available in 4 different types –

• Deep exfoliating scrub (The one I got)
• Deep Facial Cleanser for Sensitive skin
• Deep Cream Cleanser
• Deep Facial Cleanser

Water, Sodium Laureth ing Sulfate, Coco-Betaine, Glycerin, Glycol Distearate, Sodium Chloride, PPG-5-Ceteth-20, Cocamide Mea, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Acrylates Copolymer, Benzyl Salicylate, Salicylic Acid, Menthol, Polyquaternium 7, Peg14-M, Hexyl Cinnamal, Geraniol, Linalool, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, Sodium Hydroxide, Citronellol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Citric Acid, Fragrance.

I know there are people who are against sulfates in the face wash. But for me here is the deal. I have tried face washes without them and I just don’t feel satisfied. I like my face washes to lather. I need to have that squeaky clean feel. So , unless there is a sulfate free one that lathers well and satisfies me , I am gonna stick to the regular ones.

I’ve gotta give it to L’Oreal for bringing out this innovative scrublet thingy. Me thinks it’s trying to mimic the uber popular clairsonic that everybody and her mother raves about. The bottle contains a hole in the middle into which this scrublet fits snugly.
Now, even though this is called an exfoliating scrub, it looks and feels like a face wash, only with bigger and more exfoliating particles. The product smells like peaches and nectarines…Totally yumm! The highlight of this product is the little “scrubulet” thing that comes along with this. It is a soft rubbery scrubber kind of a thing that you use to scrub your face. The scrubulet is totally flexible and thus it can easily get around tough spots like corners of your nose. I usually wet my face and take some product on my hand and apply it on my face. I wet the little scrubulet and the go over my face in circular direction. Try to be gentle. You already have exfoliating beads. So don’t bruise your skin with excessive scrubbing. (Although I doubt that, because the scrubulet is really soft and flexible.) My favorite aspect is that my skin feels instantly brighter and soft after using this product and the best part is that my skin doesn’t feel tight after using this. Almost 90 % of cleansers I have tried make my face feel tight after wash and make me want to slather loads of moisturizer on my face. This actually means that it is too harsh and stripping your skin of its natural oils. Now, I am not too sure of the smaller pores claim. I am blessed with decent problem free skin(If I may say so).I do not have open pores on my face, so I cannot comment on that part. This really works well for my skin and I am definitely gonna try the regular cleanser from this line for a gently everyday facewash.

PROS

1) Smells Lovely (Peaches & Nectarines? Hello?!)
2) Exfoliating beads are not too abrasive
3) I feel the scrublet actually deep cleans. My face feels much softer.
4) It’s very affordable.

CONS

NONE. I absolutely love this product. Oh wait. The scrublet being flexible and all tends to slip of out of my wet hands at time. Does that count as a CON? Not for me . 🙂

I will definitely repurchase it. But I will get the normal cleanser as I feel that I cannot use this exfoliating one on a daily basis. It’s too much for my skin to handle.
