L’Oreal Professionnel TEC HairMix Spiral Splendour Review

L’Oreal Professionnel TEC HairMix Spiral Splendour Review

I have natural curly/wavy hair, that’s what my beautician told me. People with curly and wavy hair probably know that hair tends to look dry and dead at times. I tried L’Oreal Elvive Smooth-Intense Styling cream, which claims to nourish and smoothen dry, frizzy and rebellious hair, but it didn’t help much. I guess it wasn’t the right thing for me. It’s not so easy to find curly hair products in India unless you purchase them from salons or wholesale markets.

A friend of mine recommended this product to be used along with L’Oreal Shine Curl Hair Masque and L’Oreal Lumi Oil Hair Smoothening Oil. I was a bit hesitant at first, but after seeing my friend’s hair transform from not-so-defined wavy hair to healthy wavy/curly locks, I had to give it a try. I took the product from my friend on a trial basis and I didn’t regret it. Here’s a lowdown on what the product claims to do and how it did just that.

Loreal TEC HairMix Spiral Splendour

What The Product Claims:

Moisturizes and defines dry curls, leaving them soft, shiny and frizz-free.
Adds suppleness without weighing hair down.

How To Use:

Apply evenly section by section to shampooed and towel-dried hair, twisting each section to enhance curl definition.
Leave to dry naturally or blow-dry using a diffuser.

Second

Ingredients:

loreal serum ingredients

What I Think About this Product/Pros:

Great Apple Fragrance.
Does what it claims to do, makes your hair soft, moisturized without weighing it down.
Contains coconut oil –  cuticle damage to your hair often results in splits end and dry brittle hair that easily breaks. Coconut oil softens the hair and conditions the scalp leaving your hair silky, smooth and shiny.

Wheat Proteins – naturally derived protein that offers a combination of moisture balancing and film-forming properties that work together to give hair better body control and a smoother softer touch.

  • Best if used on alternate days. Shows results in a week of use depending on your hair type. Don’t expect it to work wonders on poker straight hair. It’s good for naturally curly and wavy hair.
  • It is a white hair cream that spreads easily in your hair.
  •  Costs Rs. 550, but it’s worth every single penny.
  •  Anyone interested, should definitely try this.
  •  Works well with L’Oreal Lumi Oil added in a pea size.

Third

Cons:

  •  Rs. 550 for 150 ml, a bit expensive, but you won’t regret it.
  • It doesn’t work for some people that’s what I heard. It is purely dependent on your hair-type. Don’t expect a miracle when it doesn’t stand a chance.

Conclusion:

I am definitely buying this product again. It is just right for my hair and I’m glad I tried it. I will continue using it. Everyone has different hair types. A product that works on my hair may or may not work on yours, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give it a try, “YOU WON’T KNOW UNLESS YOU TRY.” Once you find the right product for your hair, stick to it and if needed you can try others as well.

IMBB Rating:

I will give L’Oreal Spiral Splendour 4.5 out of 5.

  1. i have curly coarse and frizzy hair, do you think this will work with coarse and unruly hair. also any other curly hair related products, even if styling only.

  2. Unfortunately this product did not give me Kamal Sidhu’s lush and sexy curls. Perhaps I was expecting too much. My hair has the tendency to form big curls, if cut in steps. It’s currently at one length. Spiral Splendor has worked excellently well for my colleague though. And she highly recommends it. I’d say it worked for me to control the frizzies. For frizz control I’d buy it again. It’s worth a try.
