A few days ago, I reviewed L.A. Colors Browie Wowie Brow Pencil and today, I am going to share my views on L.A. Colors Browie Wowie Tinted Brow Gel in the shade, Dark Brown. Read on to know more about it.

My Experience with L.A. Colors Browie Wowie Tinted Brow Gel Dark Brown:
L.A Colors Browie Wowie Tinted Brow Gel comes in a nice dark brown tube with a black cap. It is a nice small packaging which is easy to carry around. Tinted brow gel means a brow mascara, so it has a nice long wand with spiral bristles, which also has a nice size increasing pointed tip. Its small applicator bristles work fine on brows and help to apply it easily. Now, I never used any tinted gel before this, so I can’t compare it with any other tinted gel but according to its price, I like this product.
In India, L.A. Colors offers around 3 shades and I picked up the shade Dark Brown. Now, I had no idea about tinted gel, so I went for my normal brown shade but it is darker than my brows, so I think a lighter shade would work better on me. The Dark Brown shade is a perfect dark brown color, which is perfect for dark black brows and it will be a nice match for darker skin tones. But, I can still manage with this color with a very light hand application. Also, the shade is super pigmented that requires only single stroke, so I need to be careful during application. Otherwise, it looks a little overpowering.
Now, as I am using such product for the first time, so initially it looked horrible on me. But, once I get the trick of light hand application, it looked better and nice. I usually prefer to fill my brows first with a brow pencil and then to set them, I apply it over the hair. In this way, I get my perfectly defined brows.
As it is a tinted gel, it has a nice medium creamy consistency that glides easily and feels light on the brows. It also gets set quickly and doesn’t look messy. The bristles reach each and every hair easily and the formula dries out quickly as well. The formula defines each hair well and gives a nice thicker look to them. It basically separates each and every hair on brows and keeps them in place for long. Also, the wand blends the product perfectly onto the brows.
I always prefer natural-looking brows, but somehow, it looks a little heavy. It may be for the darker shade. Otherwise, if I apply it perfectly, it gives a bold thicker look to my brows. The formula also defines the brows well and it gives a nice tinted smooth finish. I like its smooth formula, which is not sticky or heavy at all, but I do feel that it makes my brows look limp. It actually doesn’t work great on thin brows like mine. I didn’t notice any extra volume on them. I can get such volume with a brow pencil as well. I expect a little better. Only, this product makes them limp, so you definitely fill your brows with a pencil first and both the products give a nice look. A perfect application is very important for this product.
If you love super bold thick brows, then it is a great one to get such fuller look. Such products are perfect for those who already have thick brows and just want to set them well. It takes only a few minutes to do that. It also uplifts hair to the upper direction which looks nice.
Now, this gel lasts long on brows as well. I have oily skin but the product never moves from its place automatically and never gets messy. Also, the formula is pretty smudge-proof, transfer-proof and water-proof as well. So, it keeps my brows in place for long, even if I sweat badly.
It keeps my brow perfect for around 7-8 hours which is pretty long and it never turns messy. I like its long-lasting effect which is good to all. Also, it is quite easy to remove with a single wipe.
Overall, I like this product and the quality too, but as I picked a deeper shade, it is a little difficult to work with it perfectly. Otherwise, it is a nice one to get fuller thick bold brows.
