L.A. Colors Eyeliner Pencil-Copper
Hello all pretty ladies.
This was a total random pick. I went to pick Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Rose which was on my wish list from the day I saw Neetu’s review and picked up this one too along with few more. We girls never let go any shopping chance though I stopped by on my way to office but who cares; the moment we step into cosmetic counters, everything looks so tempting. Besides, reading IMBB is a way to relieve daily stress but writing for IMBB is double joy! Whenever my post is published, I feel extremely happy and important to myself, seriously and honestly *happydance*. Let’s move one to the review.

My views about L.A. Colors Eyeliner Pencil-Copper:
The last thing I want to write a review about is a lipliner or an eye pencil because I don’t feel much like writing about it. This eyeliner pencil comes in a simple sharpen-able and wooden pencil. The colour of all 15 shades is black expect the lower end that distinguishes the shade of the pencil. Overall, the packaging is sturdy and the cap doesn’t loosen when I carry it around because I am quite clumsy stuffing things in my bag, leading to an ultimate mess that finally ends up in operation clean-up.
The formula of pencil is very creamy and soft. It glides on easily without tugging or pulling. One swipe shows adequate color pay off but you can intensify the shade with multiple swipes. So pigmentation wise, it is good. It doesn’t smudges at all but comes off on rubbing my eyes. And it doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes. The shade is golden copper, a slightly metallic shade which is versatile. The copper shade can be used on its own or combined with dark matte eyeliner for double effect. In apply it both ways and it looks beautiful. It fades evenly on upper lash line and lasts for about four hours. All those who feel that black eyeliners make their eyes too prominent can try such colors without and reservation. Now coming to the waterline application, it looks equally good over there too.
No stinging in my eyes, no issues with that at all. The shade gives a wide and open effect to eye; I look awake (though I am sleepy on every working day :P). It lasted for about 1.5-2 hours on waterline. The shade is eye catching and they have quite interesting shades especially with metallic effects. For so low price tag, I have no complains with this product. It also sharpens easily without giving me troubles and without wasting much product, but I am very impressed with MUA pencils and wish every brand to add sharpeners to the caps :P.
L.A Colors should improve their packaging. I understand that the lasting time is pretty average but if I compare it to essence eye pencils which I used recently, this one is far more better than those and at this dirt cheap price, I shouldn’t complain about lasting time atleast. Overall, I think this is worth a try.
Pros of L.A. Colors Eyeliner Pencil-Copper:
- Very pretty copper shade.
- Simple packaging.
- Creamy soft formula.
- No tugging and drag while applying.
- One swipe shows decent color payoff.
- Travel friendly.
- Doesn’t sting eyes.
- Stays for good four hours.
- Pocket friendly.
Cons of L.A. Colors Eyeliner Pencil-Copper:
- No ingredients mentioned.
- No sharpener included.
- Availability might not be easy.
Recommendation & repurchase:
I have a strong opinion that all pencils falling in lipliner and eyeliner category should atleast be at very affordable price. I am going to purchase other shades and you too don’t let go off them if you spot these. 🙂
