Hello all!
Hope you all are doing well! I’m here to review a lipstick from L.A. colors. I love lip products, hence I picked three of these lipsticks- Pink Parfait, Matte Red Tango and Matte Strawberry. Let’s see how this one fares!
Price: I got it for 1 $
Shelf Life: 24 months
My experience on L.A. Colors Pink Parfait Lipstick:
Packaging: The packaging looks very similar to Jordana lipsticks. The bullet is silver and has black details showing the name of the product. The cap is transparent allowing you to see the shade clearly. Spotting the shade won’t be much of a problem. The sticker on the cap displays the ingredients list and the shade name and number. The cap fits very well and it shuts with an audible click. The lipstick bullet also has a locking mechanism, which is great. The lipstick however doesn’t fully go inside the bullet. Hence you have to be careful while closing it, because it might damage the lipstick otherwise. The packaging is convenient and travel-friendly. But at the same time it is very dull and boring.
Color/Pigmentation: Pink Parfait seemed to be a nice bright pink to me while I was browsing through the catalog. But in reality it’s a Barbie pink color. It comes off as a milky pink color. And when you apply it on your lips, it comes off as a horrible pink with purple undertones. It doesn’t look good on me. It appears to be like I have smeared some pastel pink colored paint on my lips! :/ As for the pigmentation is considered, I wouldn’t say that this lipstick is much pigmented but is can be built up easily. Three swipes will be needed for a bold lip. This lipstick doesn’t have any shimmer or glitter to it. But it gives your lips some sheen to it.
Texture: I quite like how smooth and creamy this lipstick is. It glides on very easily without tugging or pulling and moisturizes the lips as well. It doesn’t feel heavy after applying the lipstick but it can look cakey if you build it up a bit.
Staying Power: This lipstick stays for about 3 hours. It fades easily with meals. It tends to settle into fine lines on the lips after some time. It transfers too!
Smell/Taste: It has a sweet coconut kind of fragrance to it. It’s sweet but not at all over powering. It doesn’t even linger after applying the lipstick. It doesn’t have any taste though.
Summing up the pros and cons;
Pros of L.A. Colors Pink Parfait Moisture Lipstick:
- Travel friendly packaging
- Smooth and creamy texture
- Moisturizes lips
- Gives a nice sheen to the lips
- Sweet fragrance that doesn’t linger
Cons of L.A. Colors Pink Parfait Moisture Lipstick:
- Not easily available in India
- Shade looks beautiful in the swatch but looks horrible on the lips!
IMBB Rating: 1 / 5

Sach me!
I really liked the color from the bullet. 🙁 But it looks like three different colors
! Such a miss 🙁
Me too Disha! Really it looks so beautiful in the swatch and bullet but on the lips! 🙁
I so wanna say this right now, “Itna rupaiya mein itnaich milenga!” 😛 That’s really not a wearable shade, not on my skin at least.
Hahaah! Wait till you see the other colors, I’m sure this is just an exception! 🙂
Oops, it looks so different on lips than what’s in the tube!
Yes 🙁
It was looking luscious in tube but 🙁
Oho…..bad luck. The color looks so pretty on the bullet and the swatch!!!! How come it changes so much on the lip???? I hope this didn’t happen with your other purchases.
I was shocked to see the colour it turned out on your lips. Totally different! The colour looked so appealing in the bullet I was tempted to buy it myself 😛
