L.A. Colors Stellar Baked Eye Shadow Review

Hii! 😀

Hope you are having a great day! I am reviewing my very first product from the brand, L.A. Colors. I was skeptical about the brand at first but after reading a few reviews, I decided to buy this quartet. Read on to know how it fared for me 🙂

My Experience with L.A. Colors Stellar Baked Eye Shadow:

Packaging:
The quartet comes in a plastic case with the details behind and an applicator with 1 sponge. I do not trust the packaging, though. For all I know, it falls thanks to my clumsiness and breaks the shades. But so far, so good.

Pigmentation:
There are 4 different shades present, which are apparently “baked“. The first shade is a whitish silver, I prefer to mix it with another colour for the not so frosty look. The second shade is somewhat like the first one with a pink tinge. The first two shades are frosty in look and are not as pigmented as the other two. The third shade is a hot pink with purple undertones which looks beautiful on the eyes, it is my favourite of the lot and is well pigmented. Lastly, is a purple with a pinkish tinge. It is the most pigmented shade and perfect for night-outs.

Staying Power:
The shades are high in shine with rarely any shimmer (yay!).

Texture:
The feel of any of the shades are not chalky. It is a great quartet with good quality shades.

L.A. Colors Stellar Baked Eye Shadow 6

Overall, I am not impressed neither am I disappointed.

Pro of L.A. Colors Stellar Baked Eye Shadow:

  • Little goes a long way.
  • Beautiful shades.
  • The feel is not at all chalky.
  • Great colour payoff.
  • Smooth application.
  • High-shine colours.
  • Great pigmentation.

Cons of L.A. Colors Stellar Baked Eye Shadow:

  • Uncertain availability in India.
  • Shelf life not mentioned.

Conclusion:
I like it but I do not love it. The colours are great and the wear time is good too and it is actually a steal at this price. This quartet is good for a beginner like me and because I am not into dramatic eyes, this will last me a long time.

IMBB Rating:
4/5.
