L.A. Colors True Beige Liquid Makeup Review

Hey ladies,

How are you guys doing?

Lately, I’ve been attending so many weddings and its certainly adding up to my weight :/ Can you resist good looking, delicious food when you attend weddings? I just cannot. Getting back to today’s review on LA Colors Liquid Makeup.

L.A Colors Liquid Makeup (1)
Last week, an aunt of mine visited India and needless to say, got me many chocolates and candies and a few skincare and makeup products; today’s review is on one of those products. Read on to know if I’m delighted to receive it or not.

Price: Around $1 (I got it as a gift).

Texture: It says liquid but it has a thick texture and its color is a little on the yellow side.

Shade: BLM311 True Beige

Claims:

o Flawless looking finish for all skin types
o Soft, luminous finish
o Provides complete coverage

My take on L.A . Colors True Beige Liquid Makeup:

How I love it when somebody comes from overseas! Chocolates and gifts and pre-ordered stuff. Wohoo! When I first saw the packaging, I was quite impressed with its applicator, this stick-like packaging has a pump applicator which makes application very simple and easy. And on digging a little information about this product, I was gladly surprised to know that this charges only $1 (yes, I’m not kidding) It’s hard to find a lip balm for $1 and this is a damn foundation; but after analyzing its performance, I was disappointed.

The packaging isn’t very chic, just the pump dispenser system is impressive. Otherwise it is a normal transparent slim packing. The foundation is a little yellow in shade and doesn’t really work for me. Its thick texture doesn’t blend well on my skin which is why I hate using this foundation. Moreover, it gives a very light coverage and I wanted something that can cover my acne spots and blemishes, but this inexpensive foundation completely failed me.

L.A Colors Liquid Makeup (2)
I have combination skin which means my skin does generate excess oil in some areas of the face, and this foundation further adds up to my oily face; and therefore a compact over it is a must. A touch up is definitely required every 2 hours otherwise I look as if I have caked up face makeup. So I often skip it on long days of makeup wear. Although it gives my skin a soft feel, I don’t really like excusing myself for frequent touchups. The only good thing is that it doesn’t smell bad like most foundations do. It has a very light smell which isn’t bothering. Otherwise, I don’t like this product and seems it will go unused. It doesn’t stand on what it claims.

Cons of L.A. Colors True Beige Liquid Makeup:

• Very light coverage.
• Not easily available in India.
• Doesn’t last for more than 2 hours.
• Powder/compact required over this foundation.
• No information mentioned.
• Makes the skin oily.

Will I repurchase L.A. Colors True Beige Liquid Makeup?

No! I don’t want to purchase a product just because it’s inexpensive. A real product does what it claims and this has completely failed the test.

  1. So Sad, try blending it with a damp makeup sponge or use it like a lippy base 😛
