L.A. Girl Cappuccino Lip Liner Review

I was picking up a few eyeliners from L.A. Girl, so without checking the description properly, I picked two lip liners thinking they were eyeliners! I am going to review L.A. Girl Lip Liner in the shade “Cappuccino.” More details on this liner follows:

My Experience with L.A. Girl Cappuccino Lip Liner:

This lip liner comes in a simple wooden sharpenable pencil with a matte black plastic cap. There is no sharpener provided with the pencil. It has a color-coded base. Overall, the packaging is nice, sturdy and purse friendly. “Cappuccino” is a nice brown lip liner with absolute zero sheen or shimmer though I am not a fan of such brown lip colours. So, I prefer to use it as an eyeliner.

This lip liner has a soft texture, but it is not super creamy and does not glides smoothly onto the lips. It tugs and pulls a lot on the lips. So, I prefer to apply a lip balm underneath, otherwise it hurts the lips so badly.

This liner is decently pigmented and imparts an intense colour in a single swipe. You need not layer it on to get a good colour. The formula is drying. It does not moisturize the lips at all. It did not do anything to keep the lips hydrated. The lip liner clings to the dry patches of the lips and gives a tacky finish. So, prepping your lips is advisable.

The lip liner settles into the fine lines of the lips, but does not bleed at all. The lip liner lasts for a good 4-5 hours. Overall, I did not like this liner much, the quality is not that great. There are better options available in the market.

Cons of L.A. Girl Cappuccino Lip Liner:

• Texture is not good.
• Does not moisturize the lips.
• There is a little tugging and pulling.
• Settles into the fine lines of the lips.
• Clings to the dry patches of the lips.
• Formula is a bit drying.
