L.A. Girl has come up with some amazing lip paints and I feel they are inspired from the “Too Faced Liquid Lipsticks” because this one is a perfect dupe of Melted Peony from that range. I have picked up 2 shades: This one and the other one called Bombshell! Let’s see how this summer shade worked for me.

My Experience with L.A. Girl Peony Glazed Lip Paint:
Packaging: The lip paints look utterly cute because they look super attractive together if you have a few shades. The lip paint comes in a small tube with a gold cap and bright fresh coral packaging. It has gold and black fonts over it which make it look really pretty. The tubes are colour coded, so it is very convenient to spot these. These are super handy and can be easily carried around in a clutch, hand-bag or even pocket. The applicator has a slant tip which makes the application very easy and precise. It pumps out the needed quantity only. And the price is just too great, at this price, they are a complete steal.
Shade: The shade “Peony” is a super refreshing and a bright coral shade. It is fresh, summery and too bold, although corals are considered as lighter shades. This has a bit of a neon touch which makes it pop on my lips. Honestly, I found it to be beautiful colour but it is just too bright for my liking. It will look extremely beautiful on fair skin tone but my skin has tanned lately and this colour completely washes me out. It suits me after it settles to a stain, but for that I have to handle the super bright coral shade which doesn’t suit me. It is a perfect day-wear shade but it is just not made for me!
Consistency, pigmentation and finish: The lip paints have a very creamy consistency and I could actually call it liquid lipsticks. They are extremely creamy but very runny too at the same time. Hence I need to be really careful during squeezing it to apply. It is thick on the lips exactly like lip paint. The pigmentation is just incredible. The colour pay-off is super intense and every colour has its own uniqueness. It does not lose its intensity no matter what I eat. Even the stain is super bright. The finish is glossy and creamy at the same time. It has a dazzling shine which makes my lips pop. It dries out the lips a bit after the paint goes off.
Staying power: The lip paint stays on my lips for 4 hours. Initially for an hour the glossiness stays as it is. After meals, the liquid part goes off my lips, converting the lip paint into a stain. It does not settle in fine lines nor does it bleed. But it might cling to dry patches after it converts into a stain. The stain stays till the time you remove it and a good makeup remover is needed to remove it completely. Overall, really good one if you like glossy stuff!

• Transfers a lot.
• Not everyone would be able to pull off this shade.
• Not everyone would like the tingling sensation.
• Will wash out medium to dusky skin tones.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend L.A. Girl Peony Glazed Lip Paint?
I wouldn’t recommend this particular shade because this does not suit Indian skin-tones, but yes do try the other shades as this range is awesome!
Conclusion: I wish I had picked more shades because these are a steal!
