My Experience with L.A Girl Strobe Lite 70 Watt Strobing Powder:
Packaging: L.A Girl Strobe Lite Strobing Powder comes in a beautiful luxurious golden and black plastic container with a clear cap. This packaging looks gorgeous and it is a sturdy, travel-friendly container. But, it doesn’t come with any mirror or applicator.
Shade: Now, this highlighter has so many shade options that will suit a lot of skin tones. As I wanted to try a new shade, I picked the ’70 watt’ variant which is a beautiful shade from the pink family. It is actually a very light soft peachy pink shade with a warm undertone. It suits on Indian skin tones really well and it looks very beautiful.
But, it might look a little light on darker skin tones. Hence, I believe if you can carry a shade like this, it is for you. This looks very soft glowing on the skin and this shade is really a pigmented highlighter which needs one swipe and you get a beautiful and subtle glow. With two to three swipes, it provides that perfect strobing look. I really love this pretty shade.
Quality and Texture: This powder comes in a smooth texture that blends easily on the skin. It feels very soft and lightweight on the skin. But, I felt it be a bit powdery that dusts a lot during application. It doesn’t feel chalky on the face but, the texture is not super fine too. You need to be careful while applying it. It is best to apply with a thin fan brush. Otherwise, with my big fan brush, it looks a little messy. But if you apply it properly, it blends smoothly on the skin and provides a natural smooth finish that looks so flawless. I love its finishing. It doesn’t look patchy at all and never highlights my dry patches. I used it during winters and it kept my skin soft without feeling dry. It also never clogs my pores which is really nice.
The highlighter contains some noticeable shimmers in it which provide a super amazing glow to my skin and this name “70 watt” is just perfect for this highlighter. With two strokes, it instantly provides that super illuminating glow to the face. It looks very soft, healthy and is perfect for a party look. The highlighter is perfect for a strobing makeup look. If you are a ‘highlight on fleek’ person, this is a beautiful product for you.
Staying Power: It enhances my base makeup beautifully and defines my face to highlight those highest areas on my face. It adds that perfect glow which lasts for a long period of time. It almost stays for about 5 hours nicely and after that, it starts to fade away. Due to its powdery texture, it looks a little messy by the end of the day. Also, it transfers a little so I need to fix it with a setting spray and then, it looks much better. But, it is quite easy to remove and it suits my oily, sensitive skin nicely.
Overall, I love this product as it compliments my skin tone nicely and looks so glamorous on the skin. It provides that perfect, super illuminating strobing look and makes me look glowing with a flawless finish. I wish it has a little better texture.

Yes to both. I really want to try few more shades from this range and if you love a wearable pink highlighter, it is a nice option to go for.
