My Experience with L.A. Girl Eyeliner Pencil in GP623 Pretty N Pink:

The eyeliner comes in a regular wooden pencil form with a black cap. The cap fits securely and makes it purse-friendly. The pencil does not come with any sharpener. Pretty N Pink is a very light pink shade with large dark pink glitters in it. Actually, I bought it to serve two purposes, one to be used as an eyeliner and other as a light pink lip-liner because I needed a light pink lip-liner too. But it did not fulfill my second purpose to be used as a lip-liner because it has large chunky glitters in it.

Now, lets see how it works as an eyeliner. It is light pink shade, which sparse large dark pink glitters in it but they are embedded in it well. So, it looks subtle and elegant. The shade is light and I use it on my lower lash line to create some wide-open-eyed look. The texture of the eyeliner is not so smooth, so there is a lot of tugging and pulling of eyes. It does not glide smoothly. So, a little pressure is required to draw a line but the liner is so brittle kind of that it tends to break again and again. I have wasted almost half of my pencil in sharpening.

Though the shade looks elegant, sharpening it again and again creates a huge mess. The pigmentation is good. One swipe gives good colour. The staying power is good. It stays for 4-5 hours on my waterline. But it is really difficult to sharp it. I don’t know whether this particular piece is defective or there is a same issue with all the eyeliners. I am using lipliners from L.A. Girl and they are good. Overall, the experience with this eyeliner pencil is really horrible.
