Today I am talking about a stick blush by L.A Girl. Actually, these days I don’t like to use a lot of powder on the face. It makes me feel heavy and patchy, so I wanted to try more cream-based products. That’s why I purchased this L.A. Girl Velvet Contour Stick Blush in the shade ‘My Bae’. Now, let’s get into the details.

My Experience with L.A. Girl Velvet Contour Stick Blush My Bae:
L.A. Girl Velvet Contour Stick Blush My Bae comes in a pretty, color-coded stick form that has a nice clear cap, which makes it easy to identify, and it’s a nice lightweight packaging. I love this cute stick.
They offer beautiful shades and I picked the shade ‘My Bae’, which is a super pretty coral pink shade. It looks perfect on my medium skin tone. The shade looks very natural on the skin and provides a pretty, fresh look as well. This shade is perfect for all skin tones and has fine shimmers that provide a sheer glow.
The shade is decently pigmented but I need few swipes to get the actual color. Also, blending sheers out the pigmentation, so I have to layer it up to get that pink effect. Otherwise, for an everyday natural look, it is quite a good shade.
Coming to the formula, this blush has a nice smooth texture that glides well. It’s super easy to use, but as it has a sheer formula, I prefer to blend it with my fingers or even a brush works nicely. It has a super light and soft formula that occupies my skin evenly but it looks like a sheer pink blush on the face and that’s why it always needs a seconds layer. Thankfully, layering doesn’t make it patchy or heavy.
It feels comfortable, non-patchy and non-sticky and looks beautiful on the cheeks. It leaves a pretty, velvety-soft finish, which is good for all skin types. It neither makes my skin oily nor dry but provides the decent amount of softness. This shade has fine shimmer particles that give a light glow to my skin but they never look overpowering.
The product transfers a bit and looks faded after a few hours. It’s not a long-lasting blush, and after a couple of hours, the color looks quite light. The blush lasts around 3-4 hours on my skin type. It never clings to dry patches and never clogs my pores. It never makes my skin sweat excessively either.
I wish this blush had better staying power else it’s a pretty, natural-looking blush with a smooth formula. It suits my sensitive skin well and never broke me out. Still, I would say, it’s quite an expensive product for the quality you get.
