My Experience with L.A. Colors Iced Pigment Powder Glam:
The powder pigment comes in a small, square-shaped transparent jar. The jar closes with a color-coded metallic finish, screw-on lid. The lid looks very cute and beautiful and it makes the whole packaging look attractive. There is a small label at the base of the jar bearing the shade name, number and other necessary details about the product. The pigment jar has a sieve-like safety cover to prevent the blowing away of the product. Overall, the packaging is good, lightweight and travel friendly.
“Glam” is a beautiful lilac purple color, it is a fresh summery shade. It can be used for both daytime and night-time use. The color is subtle and does not catch attention, so it can be used to create subtle eye looks or heavy eye makeup in combination with other shades. It has finely milled microshimmers in it.
These shimmers give the shade a pretty frosty finish. The shimmers are silver in color but they are too fine and are barely noticeable, so the pigment does not look chunky or over the top. The color looks lovely on the eyes and enhances the entire look. It looks so fresh and beautiful. If you like vibrant colors, this shade is worth trying. The pigment is decent in terms of pigmentation. I barely need two swipes to get rich pigment on my eyes. It can be used both wet and dry. I prefer using it wet as the color look more intense and gorgeous when wet.
The texture is soft and smooth. It is very easy to blend. It goes effortlessly on the eyes and looks even. It does not drag on the eyelids. The formula is really lightweight and comfortable to wear. Since, this is a powder pigment, it causes a little fallout. So, I always remove the excess amount in the brush to prevent any fallout.
It feels silky smooth while blending the color. The finish of the pigment is frosty. It gives nice dimension to the eye makeup. It blends easily with other eyeshadows as well. The pigment never gets patchy and also it does not have creasing issues. The longevity of the eye shadow pigment is somewhere around 6 hours. Removing it is slightly difficult as the shimmers are hard to remove, but the pigment wipes off easily.
Overall, I am happy with the quality of product considering its price tag.
