My Experience with L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint Babydoll:

Beginning with the packaging of the product. The packaging of the product is cute. The color-coded tubes are easy to spot in makeup stash. The tube bears the detailing in quirky fonts. It is an easy squeeze tube with a nice metallic gold colored screw on cap. The cap closes tightly and makes the tube leak-proof.

The tube is handy and easy to carry in the handbag. It has normal plastic slanted tip and applicator. Though the slanted tip is helpful in giving precise application I feel it a foamy applicator would have been better. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel-friendly.

“Babydoll” is a pretty, cool-toned Barbie pink shade. This shade is suitable only for fair complexions. This is a refreshing summery color. It instantly brightens up the complexion. This is a nice everyday color but it has some neonish hints, which makes it difficult to carry on an everyday basis without a proper base makeup. This shade goes well only with a flawless base. I love the color and finish of this lip paint. The formula is decently pigmented. It gives semi-opaque coverage in a single swipe.

I apply two coats, which help me in hiding the pigmentation of the lips and deliver opaque rich pigment to the lips. The finish of this lipstick is glossy but it is not super shiny. I love the soft sheen it has, as I do not really like high-shine products. There are no shimmers in this lip paint. It gives a nice tingling sensation to the lips due to menthol. I don’t mind the slight tingling but everyone may not like this. It goes on very smoothly on the lips and does not get patchy or streaky at all.

The texture of the lipstick is soft and smooth. The formula is creamy, more like a liquid lipstick. Hence, it glides effortlessly on the lips without any tugging or pulling. The consistency is a little runny and the product oozes out with a little squeezing of the tube. So, I have to be extra careful while squeezing the tube. It looks thick like a lip paint. Initially, I tried applying this with a brush but that did not work and then I applied directly from the tube.

The tube itself helps in giving precise lip lines and a smoother application. The lip paint adheres to the lips nicely. It does not settle into the fine lines of the lips. The lipstick has a tendency to transfer due to its creaminess. The formula feels comfortable on the lips. It does not have that thick or waxy kind of texture. The glossy sheen remains as it is all the time. It looks so fresh and beautiful. It is non-drying on the lips and helps in providing mild moisturization to the lips.

The lasting power is around 4-5 hours on my lips with a little fading. Removing the lipstick is easy. It gets wiped off without much effort with a makeup remover wipe.
