I am addicted to reviewing new products on IMBB and that is a bad habit at times :P. I was looking for a vibrant cobalt blue eye pencil for pretty long. Most available options are already reviewed on IMBB and I wanted to try something new. After much searching, I came across this pen form eyeliner from L.A Girl. Although it is a little overpriced, I loved the concept and wanted to give it a try. Check the review to know what I think about this liner.

My Experience with L.A. Girl Line Art Matte Eyeliner Cobalt:
The pen comes in a plastic outer carton which has a transparent as well as colored area. I think they overcomplicated the packaging just because of the price. However, it gives the product a “good quality pen” kind of a vibe. The pen is bright cobalt blue in color. It is a plastic, flat, triangular kind of a long pencil which has a good grip. It is super light and as the cap shuts tightly, it can be carried around very easily.
“Cobalt” is actually a vibrant, cobalt blue shade that would show up beautifully on all skin tones. It adds a dose of freshness to my makeup and is great to create party makeup looks. This is the exact shade of eyeliner that I was looking for and I am very happy with this one.
The pen has a felt tip which makes in achieving precise and smooth lines. I am the messiest person when it comes to drawing liners and I never can actually draw a fine line or create a decent wing. This liner solved the problem to a large extent as it allows precision.
The liner has a thin, uniform consistency that glides easily on the eyes without any tug or pull. The application process is smooth and easy. It never looks messy and does not irritate eyes at all. I could not apply it to waterline properly, but when I tried, it did not irritate.
This liner dries out super fast and once it does, there is no smudging or fading. It does not smudge even if you rub your eyes. The pigmentation is great and one stroke delivers true color. But at times, the application is not perfect in a single stroke and you need to go for two strokes with that.
The product dries down to a semi-matte finish and it has a shine to it, which I love. It is a smudge-spoof and transfer-proof liner which never flakes or peels off from the eyes, but as it is not waterproof at all, it will be completely gone if you cry or start sweating. A good base is a must if you want it to stay all day long.
This liner from LA Girl stays on for 5-6 hours, after which it disappears without any trace. It can be easily washed away with water too.

I do not think I will. At this price, I expected a waterproof liner. You can try this product if you love the color.
