L.A. Girl Line Art Matte Eyeliner Espresso Review

Today, I will review this eyeliner pen from L.A.Girl that I bought quite some time ago. This has been a staple for me these days. So, let’s get to the review.

My Experience with L.A. Girl Line Art Matte Eyeliner Espresso:

I think this pen came inside a plastic outer case or something of that sort, which I discarded after opening. The pen is triangular in shape which gives me a good grip. The body is color coded which makes identification easy. The tip is nice and long, also pointy. It gives me good precision. It is also light and easy to carry around.

“Espresso” is a dark chocolate brown that is close to black but less intense. It is perfect for those who do not want an intense black. I am a stickler for brown liners as well 😛

The texture is really good; dries matte after a while. It is not very watery or runny as many liquid liners. It sets quickly too. One thing I love about this is the sharp tip; I can wing it in just one stroke! It never tugs or pulls but my lids are oily! It is super easy to create a winged liner with this pen.

The pigmentation is bang on! It is insanely pigmented. I read some negative reviews about this but I never faced any problems regarding pigmentation or anything. Maybe the problem with pen liners is that they tend to dry out.

Lasting power is also so amazing. It literally lasts all day on my oily eyelids, trust me. I wear this when I leave to work at around 7:30 in the morning and also travel back to my hometown on weekends and it’ll still be there. It fades very minimally which is a big plus for me because I am an ‘eye rubber’ 😀 I think it is just water-resistant and fades if it comes in contact with water but definitely smudge proof. I’ve been loving this eyeliner a lot lately.
