LA Colors Eyeliner Pencil – Navy Review

LA Colors Eyeliner Pencil – Navy Review

Hello all lovely and beautiful IMBB’ians,

Life is a roller coaster now-a-days because of living in a hostel in a very remote area, tough routine, extreme lack of sleep and weekly travelling.  I am in no mood of doing any work or study because of the constant “shugal” of girls after going back to hostel. Hope I do justice to my reviews because can’t survive without writing for IMBB. After I had a good experience with L.A. Colors Eyeliner Pencil Copper, I picked up the navy shade. Let’s see if this one is equally good or not.

My Take on LA Colors Eyeliner Pencil – Navy:

This eyeliner pencil comes in a simple sharpen-able wooden pencil form.  The colour of all 15 shades is black expect the lower end that distinguishes the shade of the pencil. Overall, the packaging is sturdy and the cap doesn’t loosen up when I carry it around in my purse.

The formula of the pencil is very creamy and soft. It glides on easily like butter without tugging or pulling. Pigmentation is excellent too. One single swipe shows awesome color payoff and there is no such need to repeat the swipes for color payoff. You can also see that in the swatch. It doesn’t smudge at all, but comes off on rubbing the eyes; it’s the same case with waterproof liners that they do not come off with water but rubbing of course moves them.  Also, it doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes. The shade is called “Navy” and I expected it to be a very dark blue type of color, but when I swiped it in day light, it looked like bottle green!! In store, it looked navy and in pictures, it looks like charcoal (one pencil, multiple shades :P).

All those who are not comfortable with black eyeliners can try such colors.  The navy shade has intense in color pay off and it’s a matte shade.  Upon application, it looks truly very beautiful. It fades evenly on upper lash line and lasts for about four to five hours. For waterline application, it looks equally good as well.  Does not sting my eyes, no issues with that at all.  It lasts for about 1.5-2 hours on waterline. The shade is attractive and this particular range has versatile shades. It also sharpens easily without giving me trouble and without wastage, but I wish they had provided a sharpener with the pencil.

L.A Colors needs to improve their packaging on priority though these ones are far better than any other similar price tag liner pencils.
