Hope you all are doing well! I’m here to review a lipstick from L.A. Colors and the shade is “Matte Fudge.”

My Experience with LA Colors Lipstick Matte Fudge:
The packaging looks very similar to Jordana lipsticks. The bullet is silver and has black details showing the name of the product. The cap is transparent allowing you to see the shade clearly. The sticker on the cap displays the ingredients list and the shade name and number.
The cap fits very well and it shuts with an audible click. The lipstick bullet also has a locking mechanism, which is great. The lipstick however doesn’t retract fully inside the bullet hence you have to be careful while closing it because it might damage the lipstick otherwise. The packaging is convenient and travel friendly, but at the same time, it is very dull and boring.
“Fudge” is a brown shade with hints of grey and mauve. The pigmentation on this one is good as compared to the ones that I have tried in the past. It is very smooth and evenly pigmented. You need two coats for opaque bold brown lips.
This lipstick has a satin or creamy matte finish. It isn’t completely matte but it is very comfortable to wear. I quite like how smooth and creamy this lipstick is.
It glides on very easily without tugging or pulling and moisturizes the lips. It doesn’t feel heavy after application and does not look cakey if you build it up!
This lipstick stays for about 3 hours. It fades easily with meals. It tends to settle into fine lines on the lips after some time. It transfers too!
It has a sweet coconut kind of fragrance, it’s sweet but not at all overpowering. It doesn’t even linger after application. It doesn’t have any taste though.
Pros of LA Colors Lipstick Matte Fudge:
- Travel-friendly packaging.
- Smooth and creamy texture.
- Nice color.
- Moisturizes lips.
- Gives a nice sheen to the lips.
- Sweet fragrance that doesn’t linger.
Cons of LA Colors Lipstick Matte Fudge:
- Not easily available in India.
- Not a completely matte lipstick.

I have already repurchased many shades from this collection. For a dollar, this is a nice lipstick.
