I hope everyone is in the pink of their health. Today, I am going to review for you the LA Colors Mineral Blush in the shade “Naturale.” Nowadays, people are really conscious about their skin, so the cosmetic industry has developed a whole new concept of “mineral makeup products.” Actually, it does not matter to me whether it is a mineral or a normal product, if I like it, I just pick it up. This was gifted to me by my aunt along with loads of other stuff and even if it was not gifted, I would buy it myself because getting such a beautiful coloured blush at this price is very happening. LA Colors mineral blush has 24 different shades. It has a complete series from summer peaches, pretty pinks to elegant browns (bronzers).
$4.5 (4.3 gm).
Discover fabulous mineral cheek color. Mineral blush gives you a beautiful, healthy tone that looks natural. Create a soft, radiant glow that’s ideal for all skin types. An ultra-lightweight, velvety formula ensures smooth, effortless application and is long-wearing for true all day color. Includes compact case with mirror and brush applicator.
What Differentiates Mineral Makeup Products From Normal Cosmetic Products?
So, starting with the mineral products, they contain natural minerals which soothe the skin. They contain less chemicals like parabens as compared to non-mineral products. These mineral make-up products do not even clog your pores and are very easy to be removed off from your face without rubbing your pretty face. These products are perfect for those people who suffer from acne and breakouts. Some mineral products claim that presence of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide heal acne and protect your skin against harsh heat of the sun too, but I really don’t know whether this is true or not. But why not try it once whether it suits you or not?
Mica, mineral oil, ethylhexyl palmitate, magnesium stearate, dimethicone, silica, polybutene, bis-diglyceryl polyacyladipate-2, zinc stearate, petrolatum, synthetic wax, vitamin E, methylparaben, propylparaben. MAY CONTAIN: Iron oxides, titanium dioxide, D&C red 6, manganese violet, ultramarines.
My Take on LA Colors Mineral Blush Naturale Shade:
This particular shade of the blush gives a very natural glow and a soft natural look too. It does not make the skin feel cakey. It is actually a blend of pink and brown which gives a bronzer kind of a shade. This shade “naturale” does not look very bright like the other blushes, it looks very sophisticated and cute when applied.
I personally like blushes which have more of pink because I love having rosy cheeks. When there is heavy make-up on your eyes, then this is the perfect shade to go with. I am really happy with this blush as it stays on my skin for a long time. When I come home, the blush is still there, not that fresh, but still you have those rosy cheeks. But you need to be very careful when you carry it along because I had one more shade named Pink du Jour that I had dropped once and it broke into pieces. I loved that pretty pink colour so much, but then I had to use those pieces. The mirror is also very useful because I do not have to carry a separate one while going out. Also, there is a tiny brush, which I do not actually use. I only use it when I take the blush along with me for touch-ups. But I will say that the brush is not at all bad, it is quite good and secondly you are just paying Rs. 150-200 for the blush, mirror and the cute brush applicator. So, together I feel, it is a very good deal for everyone.
Pros of LA Colors Mineral Blush Naturale Shade:
- Lasting power is amazingly good.
- Comes in a small compact case along with a mirror and a brush applicator.
- A huge range of 24 shades to choose from, what else would women want?
- Pretty cheap as compared to other brands.
- Contains less chemicals and has many natural minerals which do good for the skin.
Cons of LA Colors Mineral Blush Naturale Shade:
- Breaks into pieces easily.
- The colour is very light, so you need to roll the brush 2-3 times on your cheek.
- Availability is a major disadvantage (although you may get it online quite cheaper).
- The small brush applicator is not that good, I use my blush brush.
Would I Repurchase/Do I Recommend LA Colors Mineral Blush Naturale Shade?
Yes, I would surely recommend as the price is pretty cheap and the lasting power is too good. Actually, I would not repurchase this particular shade, rather I would buy Pink du Jour as that was really girly and I loved it so much.
