La Femme Blushes Review

La Femme Blushes Review

By Neha Shukla

When I first heard about them on Youtube, I thought they were another passing fad; until recently, when I saw a video of GossMakeupArtistΒ (a makeup artist whom I completely adore) talking about how great La Femme Blushes were and so I had to try them πŸ™‚

La+Femme+Blushes+Review

Size:

The pan size is 1.45 inch or 36.83 mm. You can buy these blushes in a case or in just a pan. I prefer just pans since I depot everything anyway and put it in my own magnetic palette.

Peach Blush

Price and Packaging:

At $2.87 + tax per pan, these are the BEST blushes I’ve ever come across! I received them super-fast in the mail. They were individually wrapped in little zip-lock bags, which were placed in small, cute yellow envelopes. They are labelled on the back of the pans so that is a plus to me. Also, I’m medium-tan (NC-40 in MAC) and (I think) almost all the colours on the website would go well with similar skin tones.

My Take onΒ La Femme Blushes:

I bought 16 colours and I LOVE LOVE LOVE every single one of them! They remind of Inglot eye shadows, except that they are blushes! :p πŸ™‚ They are creamy, soft, super pigmented, easy to blend, and last 12 hours easily on me (I do have very dry skin)! But these awesome characteristics also warrant the use of a light hand or the end result might be a little over the top.

Pink Blush

Also, since they are very soft, a hard hand on the blushes will make them powdery and hence product will be wasted. But if you treat them gently, they will perform awesomely! I personally use a small stippling brush to pick up the product and place it on my face and then use a standard blush brush to blend it. Or if I am in a rush, I will β€œtouch” the blush pan with the tip of my blush brush and place it on the outer apples of my cheeks and blend it inwards.

Pictures and Swatches (in natural light)

Now, for the fun part – Swatches!!! I got them in the following colours (left to right):

Row 1: Peach, Magenta, Indian Rose, Misty Plum, & Scarlet

Row 2: Russet, Peach Sparkle, Orange, Pink, Red, & Terracotta

Row 3: Purple Passion, Grape, Bordeaux, Dusty Rose, & Redwood

**Please note that the blushes are HEAVILY swatched!!!**

IMBB Rating:

I would rate these blushes 5/5 in a heartbeat! <3

Last Thoughts:

I have used blushes from Nars, MAC, Chanel, Benefit, Becca, Bourjois, NYX, Revlon, ELF, Maybelline, etc. and these are definitely the best quality blushes you can possibly get for the given price range! I would look at the website and make sure that none of the ingredients bother your skin, but I personally have had no complaints and my skin has been perfectly fine with them (I’m super prone to acne and my skin can be very sensitive on some days). I’ve almost stopped using all my other blushes and just reach for the La Femme blushes!

Peace out! <3

P.S.: I photographed the blushes HEAVILY swatched on my arm so that you can see the colours for exactly how they are. They can be used as sheer or as dramatic as you desire.

    1. Hi Parita,

I only paid $2.99 for shipping but that’s because I lived on the east coast when I got these blushes. Reliable international shipping would probably run around $20.00 πŸ™

    1. Dear Richa, I paid $2.87 + tax for a single pan, with $2.99 shipping, that makes it around $50! I bought them from MakeUpMania.com πŸ™‚

  2. Hey everyone, I’m so truly happy that all you enjoyed this review and the swatches, but I have a request…..

Can you guys refer to me as “Nia” in the comments instead of “Neha”? Only my teachers in school called me that and I’m not really used to it. Thank you and have a wonderful day! πŸ™‚ <3
