How are you guys? I’m writing here after ages! Like literally it has been over a year since my last article here. Today I am back with a product review for you girls. When I started to write this article, it took me a little time to revive my writing style since it has been quite long since I last wrote for IMBB. I really had to give it a good thought before I could pen this review down. But, I am glad I am back and hope to write many more articles here. The product I’m going to review today has been in the market for quite a while and needs no introduction. I am reviewing the LA Girl HD Pro Conceal Orange Corrector.

Packaging: The L.A Girl Pro Conceal HD concealer comes packaged in a plastic tube that actually feels quite sturdy. The tube is secured with a screw on lid. What is interesting about the packaging is that in place of the dispenser, it has a bunch of dense bristles attached that dispense the product every time you press the tube and you can actually control the amount you want to dispense quite well. Hence there is no wastage of the product. The bristles also double up as an applicator, making the application quite easy.
My Experience with LA Girl HD Pro Conceal Orange Corrector:
Although I have been a makeup geek for quite a long time now, I mostly hoarded on eye shadows and lipsticks. I rarely experimented with concealers and foundations as I have comedogenic skin and I dread layering up products on my face. But I have realised how base makeup can change your whole makeup game, so I recently got a couple of foundations and concealers. And, I, for sure needed a colour corrector for my dark spots as I have my share of flaws on my medium-wheatish skin tone.
So, I got this. Now let me tell you about how this fared for me. I always thought that nothing in the world can really help me get even skin tone or cover my dark spots that usually scream through no matter how much BB cream or compact I layer on. But I was completely sold the first time I used this product on my dark spots. I finally have something that can actually hide my flaws and improve the end result of my makeup so much.
The orange colour corrector comes in a thick cream based formula and is a deep orange in colour. The consistency of the product is quite thick and you would need very little quantity as it is deeply pigmented. The purpose of this deep orange colour is, like its name says, to correct the flaws and dark spots. Although the name of the product primarily says ‘conceal’, this product is primarily used for colour correction and hence the word ‘corrector’. According to colour correction basics, this shade of the corrector is supposed to be used to correct dark discoloration and dark spots.
I use a tiny amount of this on my spots, dab it locally on the spot without spreading it and then go over it with a layer or concealer/foundation depending on how much coverage I need. And, voila! I have all my spots covered and am good to go for a good number of hours. This does not make my skin oily nor does it crease or show. I am quite impressed with this product and would recommend it to everyone who is looking for an assured coverage for spots and marks.
