I am going to share my views on L.A. Girl Lipliner in the shade “Viola.” I bought this lip liner a long time ago and totally forgot to review it! Read on to know more about details about this product.

My Experience with LA Girl Lip Liner Pencil Viola:

This lip liner comes in a regular sharpenable pencil form, but there is no sharpener with the pencil. The lip liner pencil is black in color. The base of this pencil is color coded and that helps to easily spot the shade. The shade name is also mentioned at the side of this pencil. It is a sleek and lightweight pencil. Overall, the packaging is fine and travel friendly.

“Viola” is a bluish-purple shade with loads of holographic shimmer in it, which gives it a metallic finish. This shade looked bright purple in the pictures online, which was quite misleading, as I had picked this pencil online. In reality, it is a metallic purple color.

It is an unconventional shade for a lip liner, but I can use it as an eyeliner. This shade will suit most of Indian skin tones out there. The lip liner is decent in terms of pigmentation. It covers the lips perfectly with multiple swipes.

Texture wise, it is really disappointing. It is not very smooth and causes tugging and pulling of the lips. And, the tip of the lip liner tends to break if a little pressure is applied and causes product wastage. The texture is drying in nature and it does highlight dry patches of the lips. It is lightweight but it feels so dry on the lips.

“Viola” lip liner lasts for approximately 4 hours on my lips. It is easy to wipe off with any makeup remover wipe and does not leave any stain behind.
