I recently purchased a green corrector from LA Girl cosmetics. I was very keen to add their color correctors to my makeup routine and started with the green one that claims to neutralize the redness. Let’s get into the review.
Price: 595 INR for 8 gm
LA Girl’s HD Pro Concealer is crease-resistant with opaque coverage in a creamy, yet lightweight texture. The long-wearing formula camouflages darkness under the eyes, redness and skin imperfections. Provides complete, natural-looking coverage, evens skin tone, covers dark circles and minimizes fine lines around the eyes.
GC992 – Green Corrector: Neutralizes redness.

My Experience with LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Green Corrector:
Packaging: LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Green Corrector has a transparent tube packaging with a screw cap. The tube houses every detail about it. Moreover, it has a brush applicator as well. The quantity provided is 8 gm and the tube is pretty small is size. Overall, the packaging is easy to use and travel-friendly.
Texture and Fragrance: The consistency of the green corrector is quite creamy and smooth. It slides on the skin very easily, though you don’t need to glide it over. Moreover, it gets easily blended, providing a matte finish. The concealers from LA Girl do not have any fragrance, which is a good thing for people with a sensitive nose or who don’t like fragrance in their concealers.
Shade and Pigmentation: LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Green Corrector has a pretty pastel green shade instead of pure green and it provides full coverage. It conceals the redness perfectly like you never had it. This color corrector is insanely pigmented along with a creamy texture. Thus, my advice will be to start with a tiny amount, otherwise, you will end up being pastel green. Being creamy and insanely pigmented, this 8 gm tube will last ages for me.
Usage: Despite taking proper care of my skin, I do have occasional breakouts. These breakouts usually have redness along with them. To conceal the redness because of acne, I decided to invest in a green corrector. I was in a dilemma whether to purchase a redness correcting primer or concealer. Ultimately, I landed on the decision to buy a green concealer as I don’t have major redness issues. I hadn’t tried any color corrector before this one. Thus, I had a little hard time figuring out how to work with a green corrector correctly. However, within the third try, I finally did the color correcting correctly.
I primed my face before applying the color corrector. To conceal redness, I apply a tiny amount of the green corrector over the acne with the help of a brush and around the nose and cheeks. I do not use the applicator over the acne in order to maintain hygiene. However, on red areas other than acne, I apply the concealer directly with the applicator provided. Further, with the help of a mini makeup sponge, I blend it properly. After blending, the redness is completely gone and only a sheer layer of pastel green color remains. Since the concealer is quite creamy and does not dry out quickly, I don’t have to rush with the blending. However, the concealer is quite easy to blend.
Soon the green concealer perfectly dries within minutes providing a matte finish, I proceed with my regular LA Girl Pro Conceal HD in the shade pure beige that matches my skin tone perfectly. It helps in covering up the remaining pastel green color layer and makes that spot look flesh toned. In all, the green color is also gone along with the redness.
The other method I found out to apply the color correcting concealer is to mix a little of green concealer with the regular one. The mixing of the color corrector and regular concealer perfectly hides the redness along with green color in one go only.
Post application, the corrector does not crease at all. It stays intact for straight 7 hours and does not let redness reappear. All these qualities of this green corrector have made me fall in love with it.
