My Take on Marks and Spencer La Maison de Senteurs Orange Hand Cream:

I bought this hand cream in sale at Marks and Spencer. At first, doesn’t it look like L’Occitane? Also, the French name sounds so cool, isn’t it?  It is also available in lavender fragrance as well.

The main ingredient of this cream is shea butter which has good moisturizing properties. The cream is white in colour and the texture of the cream is very light. The cream sinks in and absorbs quite fast. My hands are not very dry and the cream moisturizes my hands quite well. It does not make my hands greasy and sticky. That makes this cream a good day hand cream. I hate greasy and sticky creams during day time.  Also, very little cream is needed to apply because it blends well.

The scent is quite nice, very citrusy, but not too overpowering. The fragrance does not linger for much time though.  Though the main ingredient is shea butter (according to the website), the actual ingredient list on the tube is scary – all chemical names. That was a slight put off :(.  Overall, it was a good buy for the price and it did all it was supposed to, but I didn’t like the fact that shea butter was not mentioned in the ingredient list.

  1. I really like this one and how it looks! Although I do have very dry hands, I think I’ll go looking for this just because of the pretty lil tube and because its a hand cream – I am obsessed with them!
