My Experience with La Prairie Cellular Mineral Face Exfoliator

I abbbsolutely love La prairie products. They have worked wonders for me and honestly, nothing else has worked the way these products have worked for my skin.

I love using scrubs on my skin. I have dry skin so scrubs keep my flaky skin, dry patches, black heads under check. I have been using this La Prairie scrub for almost 2 months now. I took a while to really decide how I like it. I have to say that I abbbsolllutely love it. It is an at-home-microdermabrasion .

The scrub is translucent pink in color. There are coarse crystals of various sizes. You’d also notice the mineral powders of semi precious gem stones – quartz, meteorite, tourmaline.

It is a coarse scrub so you have to be gentle with it. Gently scrub your skin in circular motions and let the crystals do their job. You don’t have to apply any pressure. It is a deep cleansing scrub so I use it only once a week for my normal-dry skin. If you have oily/ combination skin, you can use it twice or thrice a week. The scrub feels like a coarse gel. Initially I did not like that the scrub was so rough but they way it leaves the skin after washing off, it’s just brilliant. It leaves the skin clean and renewed. You skin almost looks new and refreshed after you use this. It also gets rid of black heads. I use it especially on days when my skin is looking dull because this sort of cleanses the skin from within. The pores look cleaner, and the skin looks refreshed. It makes your skin glow. 😀

I thought that since the some of the granules are big, it would make my skin sensitive. But it has never caused any irritation or sensitivity to my skin. It does not dry my skin out, which is very important for me.  It has only made my skin look better with every usage. I love how squeaky clean my skin looks after using this.

It washes off easily but just ensure that you get rid of all the particles from your skin. Or else when you follow up with a moisturiser, the granules would come in the way.

It comes in an easy squeeze white tube. Very simple , minimal and effective design. Totally works for me.

It smells quite luxurious with a hint of rose. The smell is not overpowering at all.

A little goes a long way. This tube would pretty much last me 8-9 months.

Overall, I would highly recommend this product. It is unlike any other scrub I have used so far. It is quite an experience in itself. It really helps maintain and improve your skin texture over time. It adds glow, keeps your skin super clean and gets rid of dead skin cells. The ingredients are exclusive and they work wonders for your skin.
