La Roche Posay Anthelios XL SPF 50+ Creme Fondante Review

Hey Ladies,

Since it is summer, we always want to protect our face from any UV rays. I have my BB cream that has an SPF of 42 which is very high. Recently, my mother gave me another sunblock cream that contains SPF 50. I was beyond happy because I know those creams with an high SPF cost a lot of money.

Price:

25-55$

I have acne-prone skin and I am very careful with new products I use on my face.  With this sunscreen, I didn’t have any problems and it didn’t make me break out at all.

I really like that it is fragrance free. I think that’s also why it doesn’t break me out.  Even though the bottle looks tiny, it contains 50 ml of the product and that will last me most likely a year depending on how good the weather is.

When I get the chance to tan outside, I apply this sunblock all over my face and neck area. It does feel very sticky and thick, but it doesn’t bother me since I am tanning and taking a shower afterwards anyway.

Though when I want to go out and wear this sunblock, I mix it with my foundation. I feel like that’s the only way the stickiness won’t bother me. I tried wearing this as a base under my foundation, but for some reason, the result didn’t look as flawless as when I mixed both my foundation and this sunblock together.

I would like this sunblock to be water and sweat resistant, which it isn’t unfortunately.  I think that would make this sunblock the perfect facial sunblock ever. Oh and if the price would be less, then everything about this sunblock would be perfect.

I really like this sunblock. I don’t want to get any premature wrinkles and this sunblock really does help my face to stay white. The smell isn’t very bad and if mixed with my foundation, the consistency isn’t sticky. I wish it was water resistant though, but unfortunately, it isn’t.
