La Roche Posay Effaclar H Review

Skin type: Dry skin.

Hey everyone,

In summers my skin is quite problematic and not as dry as it gets in winter. In summer, I suffer from acne issues and none of my moisturisers are effective but, La Roche Posay Nutritic Intense Rich and La Roche Posay Effaclar H works pretty well for my skin at that time.

Price: £9.50
Product Description:
Indications: Oily skin weakened by drying skin care products.
EFFACLAR H moisturises oily skin weakened by drying skin care products.
New ultra-fine texture with a non-greasy, non-sticky finish that compensates for the side effects, either
visible or experienced, of over-drying treatments.
MP-LIPIDS INNOVATION: New generation of lipids to reconstruct skin’s protective barrier in its different dimensions, associated with anti-irritant NIACINAMIDE.

My Experience with La Roche Posay Effaclar H:

Packaging: It comes in a white squeezy tube with 40 ml of the product. The name of the brand and product is printed on the front and the rest of the details are printed on the back of the tube.

Texture: LA Roche Posay Effaclar H is a light moisturiser which is good for normal, oily and combination skin. It has a thick creamy texture which spreads easily and sinks into the skin quickly. It leaves my skin feeling pretty good with normal hydration. I do need to put on a little NUTRITIC intense riche cream on top of it. After applying Effaclar H my skin feels smooth and soft.

It has a very lightweight texture and also feels the same way on the skin. The best part of La Roche Posay skincare is that it works for sensitive skin and does not irritate or cause any redness. Effaclar H doesn’t feel tacky or sticky after application. The only downside of Effaclar H is that it has no SPF, so you need to add a sunscreen on top of it.

Pros of La Roche Posay Effaclar H:

  • Works best for oily, combination and normal skin.
  • Spreads easily and sinks into skin quickly.
  • Lightweight.
  • Skin feels soft and smooth.
  • Works for sensitive skin.
  • Doesn’t irritate or cause any redness.

Cons of La Roche Posay Effaclar H:

  • For people with dry skin, you need to add extra hydration on top of it.
  • SPF needed.

IMBB Rating: 4.7/5
