This summer of mine went really bad as far as my skin is concerned. My Clarisonic broke me out really bad and not normal zits they wear kind of wierd and very small zits all across my cheek and chin area. The thing about clarisonic is that you have to keep using it even if it breaks you out so I dint stop using it and my face used to itch a lot because I was breaking out already and on top of it was using clarisonic every night before my CTM routine. At that time I was using L’occitane Immortelle Brightening Cleansing Foam, reviewed by Rati and loved it. Being a foam it went well with my clarisonic and I dint have to worry about the lathering up part of the face wash because with clarisonic you need a product that lathers well. Let’s, come back to the review… though I was very happy with my night time beauty routine sudden break outs on my face forced me to change my face wash.
Enriches and purifies, leaving the skin perfectly clean, supple and comfortable.
What it’s used for:
Toleriane Foaming Cream is specially designed for those with intolerant skin who prefer to use a water-activated cleanser. The creamy texture generates a smooth, gentle lather that rinses easily, washing away all traces of makeup and impurities. Fragrance-free and preservative-free. Ideal for normal to combination intolerant skin.

My experience with La Roche-PosayToleriane Softening Foaming Gel:
As I knew Indian market is full of chemical based products and it’s almost impossible to find a preservative free brand. I searched online and after a lot of research I got this beautiful cleanser from LRP. I am in love with it this is my second bottle. It is an all in one kind of product. It proved to be in angel for my troubled skin. One week of usage and I saw considerable change in my skin and pimples. The redness disappeared, I did not feel the itchiness on my face from the very first day , my skin started becoming normal as in neither to dry or too oily as a good ph. balance was maintained and to top it all it removes waterproof makeup as well.
I am just in love with the magic potion and I know for sure that it is a blessing for people who have pimples, acne, intolerant skin, rosacea and other skin issues as I said I’m on my second tube, and the first lasted me nearly 4 months with daily use. It does an amazing job of cleaning the skin without any irritation and you only need a pea-size amount. When the first tube finished I had to come back to this one because nothing foamed up as well and left my skin feeling as clean, without drying it out or irritating it. I love how incredibly thick and rich the foam feels, and how gently but thoroughly it cleanses. There is no fragrance, no preservative, no parabens and I like to use it with my clarisonic at night to really deep clean my pores. Although I always remove waterproof eye makeup first, I’ve noticed that other cleansers can end up leaving traces of my skin makeup on the bristles of the clarisonic. This never happens with the Toleriane, so it seems to do a great job. I’ve used other gentle cleansers in the past (Dermalogica, Cetaphil, Neutrogena, FE, Clean and Clear, Vichy, Kama,TBS) and high end cleansers (Clarins,Lancome, L’Occitane, Clinique), this beats them all. I have combo-oily skin (oily in the summer, combo in the winter) and I think this can work for me all year long because it maintains the ph. Balance of my skin beautifully. At times I feel lazy to do the CTM routine and sleep by just washing my face and removing my makeup with this and in the morning my skin is just normal, nice and clean. I’ve also tried LRP’s Effaclear foaming cleanser, but prefer the rich foam, gentleness and makeup removal properties of this one a lot more.
Pros of La Roche-PosayToleriane Softening Foaming Gel :
- The best makeup removal cleanser I have used so far and ladies it removes makeup better than TBS camomile gentle eye makeup remover and the Maybelline blue one .
- Maintains skins Ph. Balance.
- Fragrance free.
- Soap free.
- Preservative free.
- Paraben free.
- Has all the qualities of a HG cleanser.
- I am sure it’s good for dry skin also as it maintains the Ph. balance of the skin and keeps it hydrated. Because at times I skip moisturising and my face still feels normal.
- Leaves my skin very soft and supple.
- Make up remover plus cleanser, 2 in 1 products are hard to find.
- It’s a must try for people with rosacea as it instantly soothes the skin which becomes red due too harsh sunlight. With just one wash u feel relaxed and the itchiness is gone.
Here I have tried it with Colorbar’s I-glide pencil in “Blackout”. Which in my opinion is the darkest black ever and it doesn’t budge all day long. In my opinion this is the perfect test for makeup removal.
Cons of La Roche-PosayToleriane Softening Foaming Gel :
