My Experience with Labello Original Classic Care Lip Balm:
This particular Labello Classic balm was first made in 1973 and is still manufactured till date. It has a typical blue casing and has a traditional look. I have been using Labello lipcare products for almost 8 years and I must say they care enough for my lips. I have no big complaints and love trying their different products all year long.
The Labello Classic Care comes in the iconic blue and white twist tube. It is easy to open and close the cap of the casing. The cap also closes tightly and there is no chance of it accidently opening in the hand bag or purse. The packaging is very handy and can fit in most of the clutches or handbags. I always carry at least one in my handbag, one in the car, and one in the bathroom. I can never live without lipcare. My lips need to be moisturized all the time. During the day, I use matte lipsticks and my lips tend to dry out. So it’s important for me to moisturize them enough when I am not wearing any lipstick.
The Original Classic Care Lip is transparent and colorless. These kinds of lip balms can also be used under your lipsticks. I do so most of the times. The consistency of the lipcare is creamy and spreads easily over the lips. It doesn’t feel sticky or oily. A thin layer of it does the trick before applying lipsticks. A thick layer of it overnight results in baby soft lips.
The ingredients include Jojoba oil and shea butter and make it suitable for everyday use. The lips tend to dry out very quickly especially during harsh winters and need that special care. Unfortunately, this lip product doesn’t provide the required UV protection.
Since it’s oil based, it gets transferred easily when you drink or eat. This cannot be avoided and reapplication is a must. But during the night, it stays out and does all the required nurturing.

I prefer fancy products better and also love trying different products. It’s surely a wonderful product but not my taste. So would not buy it again.
