Lacto Calamine Deep cleansing Face Wash Review
Lacto Calamine Deep cleansing Face wash : Before entering the blogging world, I wasn’t aware that skin care products should be purchased according to the skin type, I was somebody who used to just randomly pick stuff that looked cute & colourful without even reading what it claims & without realising that some of them would not work for me & this article is about one of those things that I bought at random which was not meant for my skin type. I have a dry/combination skin & this face wash was not suitable for my skin type.

My Experience with the Lacto Calamine Deep cleansing Face wash:
This comes in a plastic see-through pack with a flip cap & the color of the face wash is lovely dark raspberry which got me attracted to it. The fragrance is very heavy & the very first time I applied it, I had to wash my face again & again because I felt like the face wash didn’t rinse well & left a soapy cast or soapy film! This facewash is like gel & lathers well. This certainly removes dirt or grime but after few minutes of usage the skin starts feeling dry & stretched & completely strips away moisture from the skin! After using it for the first time, I realised after closely looking at the pack that it was meant for people with Oily to Normal skin but I still kept using it thinking that after some time my face will get accustomed to it but it didn’t! I guess this will work for people with Oily skin because this face wash take away all traces of Oil but this is not all moisturizing & doesn’t make skin soft or supple! Blame on my complete ignorance or the excitement of buying stuff that is colourful, I bought a face wash that’s suitable for Oily to Normal skin type & not suitable for my skin type! Nevertheless now that I’m into the blogging world, I check the reviews of the products before I buy something.
Pros of Lacto Calamine Deep cleansing Face wash:
- This certainly stood by it claims of providing Deep Cleansing, Removes Excess Oil, Pore Tightening.
- The packaging is pretty; the flip cap is tight & leak proof & can be carried in your bag.
- This is decently priced for the quantity it provides, you just need 2 drops.
- You have a control over the quanity you need, it has a small hole for the gel to come out.
- This didn’t make my skin break out or lead to any eruptions.
- This lather wells for just a little amount, a little goes a long way.
Cons of Lacto Calamine Deep cleansing Face wash:
- This leaves a soapy cast & has to be rinsed well.
- Some people may have reservations with the ingredient, Sodium Lauryl Ether sulphate because there are certain face washes in the market that claim to be soap free.
- I find the fragrance too heavy.
FINAL VERDICT: This will certainly suit people with Oily/Normal skin! So after using this I realized that I need to first check the product at the store, read the description well to avoid wasting hard-earned money or at least read reviews of the product before getting something.
