Skin type: Oily and sensitive
I have recently purchased two new products from the brand Lacto Calamine. I already did the review of their Oil Balance Face Scrub and now, I am going to share my views on Oil Balance Face Wash. Let’s get into the details.
Price: Rs.80 for 50g
Product Description: Lacto Calamine Oil Balance Face Wash not only cleanses the face; but also maintains Oil Balance for upto 8 hours* through its 3-way action.
My Experiment with Lacto Calamine Oil Balance Face Wash:
Lacto Calamine Oil Balance Face Wash comes in a pretty white tube with a flip cap that secures the product perfectly. It is a pretty normal packaging and light weight too. This small tube is easy to carry around and super affordable as well.
The face wash smells exactly like their original face lotion. I love this fresh pleasant calamine fragrant. It doesn’t bother to my nose but a little bit strong for sensitive noses. Also, all those who don’t prefer fragrance in their cosmetics product, they might not like it. But, I am comfortable with it. This face wash has a nice white creamy texture that blends easily. It requires coin size amount to create a good lather and it works so smoothly on skin. It is also easy to rinse as well.
Now, as a cleanser, it works well to clean my skin deeply and removes dirt and impurities from the pores. It effectively works on pollution dirt and clears out all of it. It makes skin fresh and deeply clear that looks brighter as well. I really like its cleansing power that helps to make skin fresh. It effectively reduces the dull texture and brings back the natural glow on it. I mostly prefer to use it in the evening and it just pulls out all the dullness.
This face wash is especially for oily skin which removes oil and it does its job perfectly to clean all the excess oil from face and leaves skin shine-free for long. It contains Kaolin Clay which absorbs oil, and glycerin provides that desired hydration to skin. So, this face wash never makes my skin dry or stretchy. Hence, it feels so comfortable and provides decent hydration to the skin which keeps it softer and smoother. But, if you have super dry skin during winter, it is not enough to heal that dryness. It is perfect for oily to normal skin.
Now, it also contains neem which claims to prevent pimples but as I don’t have any problem right now, so can’t exactly comment on this. But, it never broke me out. Apart from these, it helps to provide a noticeable glow to my skin and erase that lifeless texture. Though it is a pretty normal face wash, I love its freshness and deep cleansing effect. Only, it can’t control oil for long. After a couple of hours, my T-zone gets oily again and I need to blot that.
