Remember “Crimson Silk” from the “9 to 5 Mousse Lip and Cheek Lip Color” recently? Lakme has come up with another “Crimson Silk” in the new “Argan Oil” lip color range. I have all the reds from this particular range and they are all amazing shades. The texture is awesome but nothing new in terms of a lipstick. This is another beautiful cherry red lipstick that I have picked up.

My Experience with Lakme 02 Crimson Silk Absolute Argan Oil Lip Color:

I am so happy with all the 4 reds that I have. “Smooth Merlot” is a brick, “Drenched Red” is a coral popping red, “Ruby Velvet” is an orange-toned one and now this, “Crimson Silk” has turned out to be a lush cherry red color. I love the supple finish it has.

Crimson Silk is a very classic red to own, something you can never go wrong with. The color is something a classy Bond Girl would wear. I love the soft moist feel to it. The pigmentation is amazing too. The color would be very flattering for all skin tones.

The texture is very smooth and due to its thickness, it would not bleed out of the lips. The lipstick feels smooth and fills in dry lips and cracks easily. My lips feel supple all day. The color does transfer a lot but still lasts 3-5 hours with meals. It leaves a soft stain behind.

The pigmentation is superb as well and gliding it across the lips is a luxurious feel. The gold to it on the outside adds to glamour.
