I love colored eye pencils and the makeup market is loaded with different brands that I usually get confusedwhile purchasing. But Lakme is close to my heart and now their new range of products looks promising so I thought of trying it. I bought it long ago but it got lost in my makeup stack. I have used it million times because the shade is pretty and my favorite too :D. Keep reading to know how it fared. 🙂

A color intense formula, with beautiful soft-color effects that will not budge even in the evening. This eyeliner glides on smoothly and easily, for a well-defined look that lasts all day.

My experience with Lakme 9 to 5 Defining Eyeliner 06 Purple

The Lakme 9 to 5 defining eyeliner 06 purple comes in retractable packaging and its black in color. The bottom of the pencil is of the same shade color which makes thing easy as you can find it easily in your vanity. I personally don’t like retractable pencils as they don’t remain sharp after a certain period and also using the same eye pencil without sharpening cause hygiene issues. It is fragrance free which is a plus point for me. The shade is pretty purple which is not very pigmented, you need 3 to 4 swipes to get intense purple shade. The texture is creamy and thus it glides easily on eyes. It stays on my eyes ‘FOREVER’, yes you heard it right. I apply it in the morning and when I come back home it is still there on my eyes without fading or getting smudged. The long lasting claims are true because it actually stays for around 8 hours. It is water resistant too and it doesn’t fade even after splashing water on face but it comes off easily with remover. It doesn’t smudge too and it doesn’t sting waterline when applied. The price is on the higher side but nowadays everyone is hiking their prices like crazy and the product is worth the penny you spend so I don’t really mind the price. Overall, I am very happy with it and I highly recommend it to everyone. 🙂
