Hello ladies, today I’d like to review a new lipstick range that Lakme has launched – The Crease-Less Crème Range. I have too many bright shades with me, so I decided to buy a subtle colour this time. Read on to find out how the new Crease-Less range Candy Commission shade faired with me.

My Experience with Lakme 9 to 5 Candy Commission Crease-Less Crème Lipstick.

Packaging: Nothing unusual, rose gold sturdy body. No colour coding. Name of the shade mentioned on the bottom of the stick.

Colour and Texture: The colour is a subtle pink with some what liliac tones to it. It also has silver shimmer that shows up on the lips too. The colour is good enough for office wear. At times, when I’m not in a mood for anything very bold and I don’t want to go bare lipped either, I apply this lipstick. It is just perfect for days like these. It moisturises my lips enough to keep them from drying. It feels quite light on the lips. I’m not liking the colour too much though. Colours like these do not brighten up the face. I wouldn’t say that it washes out my face and makes me look dull, but it doesn’t light up my face either. Some lipsticks instantly add life to the face. This shade is not one of those shades. I wouldn’t mind trying brighter shades from this range. This shade has quite a lot of silver sheen to it, which I’m not fond of at all.

The texture is super smooth, it glides on very easily onto lips and within a few seconds settles so easily without any creases. So we don’t need to pay any attention while applying the lipstick.

Pigmentation: The color pay-off is quite average, and I swipe the lipstick at least thrice for some considerable amount of color to show up on my lips.

Staying power: For such a light shade, the staying power is indeed remarkable. The lipstick left behind a tinge even after a meal.

I like the subtle vanilla fragrance the bullet has, it’s not too strong to make one giddy. The happy factor is UV Filters- SPF 15, Yay 🙂 Overall, I’m happy with this newly launched range, but not too fond of this particular shade of colour.

Cons of Lakme 9 to 5 Candy Commission Crease-Less Crème Lipstick:

• This particular shade might not suit dusky beauties too well
• It has silver shimmer, which some might not like (I don’t like shimmer in my lipsticks either)
• It has a light vanillaish fragrance which some might not like.
