So finally I got down to using this brightest pink from the new Lakme lipsticks. Well I have to say they are very similar to the previous 9 to 5 only these ones are creamy, not matte. Also they will remind you of the Lakme absolute creme finish lipsticks in a lot of ways,even the shades are similar to the matte range they have, but there is only so much a lipstick addict can do 😛 it is hard to pass up a new range of lipsticks. Especially when the previous 9 to 5 mattes have been a major favorite with me.

Texture:

The texture of this lipstick is thick and super creamy.it is not buttery but feels quite sturdy to use. it will not break or dent with pressure as well.It applies very smoothly and evenly.It goes on very moist and does not feel dry for few hours.

 

Pigmentation:

The lipstick is fantastic in terms of pigmentation.It is very opaque and thick and it coats the lips completely. The color is super bright and pigmented, in fact you can try using it like stain or tint.

Color:

The color is the brightest pink, and slightly milky, ever.It is almost neon, and adds so much to the face.The color is a neon kind of hot pink with no shimmer or frost to it.

Packaging:

it is very similar to the previous 9 to 5 only that this one says ceaseless, since it is not matte. The caps got mixed up when I was taking pictures for the haul and not this one has a loose cap. 😛 chances of this are less since you would not buy more than two I believe in one go.

Suitability:

This color is suitable to most skin tones but it is so bright you really need to wear it with caution, may be only to partied keeping rest of the makeup matte and simple.this color is almost neon and would match pink lehengas in this shade so well, just thinking.

Staying power:

Staying power is excellent, it stay for 6 plus hour including the stain it leaves behind, not too much but still does.Remember it is thick and opaque and it does crease if worn too much which you will not need to, since it is very pigmented 😛

The lipstick is soft and creamy, hence flaky lips need to be careful.There is nothing creaseless about it, only that it is super creamy and opaque.It feels moist, unlike the previous 9 to 5 ones. It would settles in lips lines in two coats, hence you can see creases. Dry lips need a smooth base for this.But overall as a lipstick, it is mind blowing.
