Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Color – Berry Base Review

I remember the time when this range was launched in the market, it was an instant hit. I picked up quite a few considering the affordable price range and awesome texture. I spotted this newly launched shade and I had to pick this up. Read on to know more about the shade and other details.

My Experience with Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Color – Berry Base:

The packaging has been described a lot many times in the previous reviews. I would not repeat the same; only that this is gorgeous and travel friendly. Only glitch is that the tube is not color coded in any way, so if you have more than one from the same line you have to remember the names.

The shade is perfectly named, an awesome shade of berry with beautiful pink undertones. Goes on super smooth on the lips with absolutely no flaking or smudging. The matte finish is really comfortable without any balm at base or top. For my normal lips, it does not dry out the lips. If you have super dry lips, you need to prep the lips with balm beforehand.

It stayed on my lips for more than 5 hours without feathering, with mini meals in-between. Lip liner can be totally skipped with the shade. I believe with a lip liner, the staying power would definitely increase considerably. The color does not vanish completely but neither does it leave any cheap stain behind.

There is no funny smell; only a bit of cosmetic smell which disappears almost immediately on application. I am loving the shade and texture of this line in particular. You have to check out this shade if you are a berry lover, you will love it.
