My Experience with Lakme 9 to 5 Pink Plush Weightless Matte Mousse Lip and Cheek Color:
This color is very bright; it is more of a bright peach than a pink. Nevertheless, it’s a bold, “in-your-face” kind of shade. The color is smooth and has the same mousse-like formula, like the other shades in this range. The color feels creamy for the first hour on the lips, after that, it settles to a powdery matte finish.
The formula is such that it does not form a cakey dry layer, but stays plush and fills in lip lines. So, even if you have your meal, there is hardly any prominent removal of color, but the overall intensity of the color over the lips fades away.
This color particularly looks bad if it gets accumulated in the corner of the lips. You need to take extra care during application and shaping the lips. One more important thing I would like to point out is that if you have flaky lips and chapped dry surface, this color especially would look awful. I rubbed my previous lipstick off to wear this one once and the finish was pretty bad. Smooth and well-scrubbed lips are a must for this mousse color.
As a blush, like other shades from this range, this would be apt for fair skin only. Lasting power both as a lipstick and as a blush is 5 hours approximately. Overall, a bold color for lighter skin tones.
