I have always had a soft corner towards coral shades, be it a nail colour or a lip colour. I have so many coral nail paints that are very close to each to other, but yet I keep getting them. It adds a burst of freshness to the look that I absolutely love, specially during summer time, when it is all about poppy and sorbet shades. I got such few shades from the newly launched Lakme Lip Tints Creme collection. I have already reviewed Red Pout and Orange Tease from the ones I have got and this is the last one among the lot. Let us see, how this little baby worked for me.

My Experience with Lakme Absolute Coral Pink Lip Tint Creme:

Recently I have been experimenting with a lot of lipsticks. But even if I have the the best lipstick, I will still be crazy about lip crayons. They are just so me. I love flaunting those poppy and pouty lips that the crayons give me.

We have always complained that the lip balms do not give enough tint, although they rock the hydration. Hence to solve this dilemma, we have lip crayons. It gives moisturisation like a lip balm and colour pay off like a lipstick. The new Lakme Lip Tints Creme is just that.

The fat lip crayon comes in a bright, refreshing and very summery coral pink packaging accompanied with a dazzling silver cap. The packaging resembles the shade of the crayon, which makes it super easy to spot the one I want, as I got a few of these. These are extremely handy, travel friendly and look very cute in this packaging. However, we just have to be a little careful while closing the cap because the lip colour has the potential to chip.

The quantity is really good because a very little amount gets used at once. The crayon glides very smoothly on the lips without tugging or pulling due to the creamy consistency. Yes, I can see the colour in the first swipe itself, but not that intense, hence a couple of swipes give me the exact colour. This quality makes it very buildable. You can also use it as a lip balm to give a mild coral tint to the lips or a perfect bold lip colour.

Coming to the shade, it is a very nice and fresh blend of coral and pink, which makes it very wearable. It is not like the usual corals that look extremely fresh and neon, which makes the skin tone look darker. The hint of pink added by Lakme to this one was a perfect decision that they made.

This one out of the 3 shades that I picked has a little pink shiny shimmer in it. The shimmers looks bright and noticeable on applying, but soon after the lip colour settles done, the shimmers are not as noticeable because they come together to give a dazzling shine. This is more of a suitable look for the day time, as this would not really look appealing during the night time. I would love wearing it during summer as I have stocked up on a lot of shades for winter to wear.

This coral pink shade might turn out to look a bit neon initially, but it settles into a very refreshing coral colour. The colour takes a bit of a time to intensify, so do not rush up and keep swiping it. The colour intensifies and become darker and suitable for Indian skin tone. This particular shade would suit fair to medium complexion, as it might wash out the dusky complexion.

It gives me glossy lips along with a good pop and my lips are hydrated through out like a lip balm. The colour stays on my lips for 7-8 hours with little food/snacks and 6 hours with complete meal. Also this does not go off completely because even if the glossiness and the intense colour goes away, it leaves behind a beautiful red tint on my lips which is adorable.

This transfers hugely and badly on glasses and tissues due to the bold colour. Hence, I am always cautious about not touching my lips and eating with care. I think this is a great innovation by Lakme and I think everyone is going to love it.

• It adds a burst of freshness to my lips and my skin glows a lot.
• It a refreshing summer/spring shade to add some spice to the look.
• The colour is buildable from a tinted coral to a vibrant coral pink.
• It gives my lips a burst of colour along with equal hydration and glossiness.
• It stays on my lips for 7-8 hours and 6 hours with full meals.
• It leaves a lovely stain on my lips even when the glossy effect goes off.

Cons of Lakme Absolute Coral Pink Lip Tint Creme:

• It settles in fine lines initially.
• It does highlight chapped portions, when it transforms into a stain.
• Will not suit dusky skin-tones since this may wash them out
• The shimmers look awful after the glossiness goes away, say after 5 hours.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Lakme Absolute Coral Pink Lip Tint Creme?
Yes, this is a nice coral pink shade to try out if you do not like the neon coral ones. It adds a burst of freshness to my skin and look good too. I do not know if I would get it again, but I am currently loving these tints a lot.
