Black liners are a staple for eye makeup lovers and I try to pick up new launches. This glossy black liner came as a part of the “Gloss Addict” range and here is the review of the same.

My Experience with Lakme Absolute Gloss Addict Liner:

The liner comes in a simple plastic bottle packaging. The applicator is of right length and allows easy application. The tip is super sharp and hence makes cat eye lining style easy. Overall, a simple packaging without much fuss; only the ingredient list is missing.

The texture is watery which dries up within seconds of application, so there are little chances of getting messed up. It glides on well on the lid without any tugging or pulling. One swipe is good enough for the pigmentation, but I like applying two swipes to get on the full on black with enough glossy look.

The shade is dark black and applies very wet and glossy which looks oh-so-glam. This gorgeous black is ideal for the festive season and can be paired with anything and everything. There are no shimmers to the shade, so it can be worn to formal parties when you want a dose of glam without looking over the top.

The staying power is good enough. If not rubbed vigorously, it stays on the lash line till it is removed. I have kept it for about 6 hours, it stayed on without fading or smudging. It is water resistant as well and survives mild water splashes. All in all, a decent liquid liner for everyday wear if gloss is not an inhibition for you. Definitely a recommended option in the sea of black liquid liners.
