Lakme Absolute Hot Pink Lip Tint Crème Review

It is next to impossible that there is a new launch and I do not pick up one or two from the range. So without much delay let us get on to the review of the Tint Crème by Lakme Absolute Range in the shade Hot Pink.

My Experience with Lakme Absolute Hot Pink Lip Tint Crème:-

The packaging is classy and subtle I would say. The tube is glossy unlike the matte range. Also the shade is of the same color as that of the shade. The tube is twist-up style which is good because there is no product wastage in the sharpening process. Also it makes the lip color more travel friendly; only glitch would be when the tip falls flat after 1 or 2 uses; doing the edges become slightly difficult. The outer paper carton has all the required information on the product.

The texture of the tint is more like a glossy cream lipstick than a “tint”. I wasn’t expecting the shade to be so glossy. Anyways, the range is ideal for people with dry lips and also for the upcoming season.

The pigmentation is medium to buildable. One swipe would not give enough coverage to cover the pigmentation on lips if any; to get the full-on intensity, two swipes are needed. The good thing is, multiple layers do not make the lip color appear cakey or heavy on the lips.

The shade as you can guess from the name is a pretty pink shade. Due to the shimmers the pink appears to be slightly on the purple tone. It brightens up the face and also makes teeth appear whiter. There are micro shimmers in the shade which was a shock to me initially but they do not feel gritty, nor does it make the pink look cheap, so I am okay with the shimmers.

The staying power varies from 3-4 hours like most creamy lip colors. The good thing about the shade is that it doesn’t completely disappear from the lips and leave back a pretty stain. I am not a big fan of stains but this one doesn’t look tacky, so stain lovers can definitely give his a try.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Lakme Absolute Hot Pink Lip Tint Crème?

Repurchase – No, because I am more into matte and I definitely dislike shimmers.
Recommend – Creamy lipstick lovers do give this a try. The added shimmers might be a good choice for the festive season.
