Lakme Absolute Lip Tint-Wine Punch and Grape Hint

Ever since I was a kid, I used to see my mom spending time trying different products at Lakme counter. It was and will always be her favorite brand. My relatives say that I am a copy of her and I think that’s the reason why I also like Lakme a lot. It is a brand which suits me a lot, let it be their makeup products or skincare products, I am never disappointed.

Lakme had launched its Pop tints some time back. Today I present to 2 shades from this range-Wine Punch and Grape Hint.

My take on Lakme Absolute Lip Tint-Wine Punch and Grape Hint:

Lakme Absolute lip tints come in a black packing with a transparent cap. I wish the packing was a bit more feminine with a hint of color. The packing is travel friendly and the lip tints have a beautiful smell attached with them which makes me use them more occasionally. They glide on super easy and make lips look moisturized. They neither have shimmer nor are matte.

Wine punch is the darkest shade in the range. It has great pigmentation and would suit fairer skin tones the most. It is a mixture of dark pink and red. It is the only dark shade which I like till date. It doesn’t look too overdone and at the same time makes lips attractive.

Grape hint is a light shade. It gives a natural look to lips with a hint of color. I wish it was a little more pigmented. Unlike wine punch, it would look good on all Indian skin tone. I use it whenever I want a casual look.

The staying power of the lip tints is 2-3 hours without meals. If you have meals it would fade fast. The lip tints don’t bleed and even when they fade away completely your lips feel moisturized.

• A bit expensive.
• Wish the staying power was more.

Would I recommend it?

Yeah. I have all the shades from this range and would suggest all the beauties out there to definitely try it.
