Today I am going to review a product which I had wished to share with you since a long time but it always took a backseat due to some unavoidable conditions. Many shades have been reviewed here from this range and the one I am going to review is Nude Rose. Read on more to find how it fared.

My experience with Lakme Absolute Nude Rose Creme Lipstick:

The lipstick comes in a metallic twist up tube. The cap is also of the some material and has the company name written on it. The shade name is given at the bottom of the tube. The packaging of the tube is very simple. It had been better if it would have been more feminine and chic. But overall it is sturdy and you can carry it in your handbag without any worries.

The lipstick is of pretty nude shade with pink undertones to it. It looks more like peach in the tube but on the lips it looks like a frosty pink. I have completely fallen in love with the shade. While taking lip swatches of it, I clicked around 20 pictures because it looked so pretty on me. It is a shade which I guess would suit pale skin tones. It is a shade when paired with smoky eyes makes a very good combination. It can also be used for daytime as it is a very soft and subtle shade. It has minute shimmer particles in it which do not appear on lips at all. It has a very creamy texture and glides on easily on lips. It does feel a bit sticky but I can overlook that factor because it is very moisturizing and don’t even need a lip balm beneath it.

The pigmentation of this shade is commendable. It covers my pigmented lips in three swipes which is very amazing considering how light the shade is. It has become my go to shade whenever I am in doubt. The only thing wrong with this lipstick is its staying power. It lasts for only 3 to 3 and a half hour. With the use of a primer, it works well for 4 to 5 hours not beyond that. As it has a creamy texture it has a tendency to transfer and can’t survive heavy meals. It doesn’t bleed and even though it has a creamy texture it gives a matte sort of a finish which I totally adore.

• Transfers due to its creamy consistency.
• Feels a bit sticky when applied.
• Boring packaging.

Would I recommend Lakme Absolute Nude Rose Creme Lipstick?

Hell yeah…!! It is a very pretty shade and though it is a bit expensive. You can check for yourself as it is a shade which would not be suited on all skin tones. But I highly recommend it for those who have fair and pale skin tone.
