Finally, Lakme is here with a range that looks different from their other regular ranges. This time, they have come up with a new golden packaging. I was waiting to try this range and I finally got 2 shades (Soft N*de and Peaches N Cream). In this post, I am going to review “Peaches N Cream.”

My Experience with Lakme Absolute Peaches N Cream Argan Oil Lip Color:
Packaging: This Lakme lipstick comes in a gorgeous gold packaging which looks pretty different when compared to their regular black packaging. The lipstick is very handy and the packaging is flawless as the twist-up mechanism works fine, but I wish it was color coded. They do mention the shade name at the bottom though. The price is definitely expensive for a regular creamy lipstick as there is nothing extraordinary about this lipstick.
Shade: The shade “Peaches N Cream” is a beautiful peach shade which looks very refreshing and pretty. It is one of those perfect shades for summers as it brightens up lips pretty well. Also. this is a subtle shade hence it can be a great option for college and office wear. Initially, it looks a bit bright and more of a coral, but then after a while it settles to a nice peach colour. While the shade is beautiful, it will only suit people with fair to medium skin tones since it may wash out the other skin tones.
Consistency and Finish: The texture is soft, creamy and buttery. It glides beautifully on my lips and does not feel heavy at all. Initially, it clings a bit to the dry patches on the lips, but later in a minute, it settles down to a nice even finish. The lipstick is super creamy and maintains its creamy finish all day long. It does transfer to glasses and tissues but the colour does not get ripped off completely.
Staying Power: The staying power is average of 4-5 hours. Once you have a meal, most of the colour will get ripped off since it is creamy, but it does leave a nice stain which can be removed with a makeup remover later on.
Pros of Lakme Absolute Peaches N Cream Argan Oil Lip Color:

- A beautiful soft peach color.
- Texture is soft and creamy.
- Hydrating.
- Pigmentation is really good.
- Stays for a good time of 4-5 hours.
Cons of Lakme Absolute Peaches N Cream Argan Oil Lip Color:
- Expensive.
- The shade will not suit all the skin tones.
- I have used similar lipsticks from Lakme before.
- Will come off completely after a meal since it is a light shade.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Lakme Absolute Peaches N Cream Argan Oil Lip Color?
Yes, it’s a good creamy lipstick to buy, but I wouldn’t repurchase as there are so many new lipsticks to try. Lakme has so many lipsticks and mousse lip colours, now they should totally come up with pure liquid lipsticks.
