I am absolutely in love with Lakme Absolute Sculpt Studio Hi-Definition Matte Lipstick range. Today, I am reviewing the shade “Pink Possession” from this particular range to review.

My Take on Lakme Absolute Pink Possession Sculpt Studio Hi-Definition Matte Lipstick:
The lipstick comes in a silver cardboard packaging. The lipstick tube is silver in color and has a clear cap. The tube has the shade name mentioned at the base. The sticker at the base also bears the shelf life and other details. The cap of the lipstick fits tightly with a click and does not come off easily. It will not create a mess in your handbag. Overall, I have no complaints with the packaging.
The shade “Pink Possession” is a beautiful pink shade with a slightly mauve hue. It has almost neutral undertones. This light pink lipstick is a perfect everyday shade that can be pulled off anytime and anywhere. The shade is unique and looks pretty on the lips. The lipstick sets to a lovely velvety matte finish. The pigmentation is not insane but easily buildable. I need to apply multiple swipes to make the color intense and last long. The shade is versatile and will surely suit so many skin tones.
The texture is just amazing. I am really in love with the texture and finish of this lipstick. It is soft and smooth. The lipstick glides effortlessly on the lips without any dragging. It feels light and comfortable on the lips, feels as if I have nothing on my lips. The formula is slightly creamy and pretty moisturizing, but I feel this lipstick makes my lips slightly dry after meals, so I prefer to apply a lip balm underneath.
The lipstick is a bit creamy and hence it does transfer a little, it is absolutely smudgeproof. It does not budge from its place at all. Prepping the lips is a must before applying the lipstick as it has a tendency to cling on to the dry parts of the lips and then highlight them badly. It does not settle into the fine lines of the lips even after hours of application.
The staying power is great. It stays for 4-5 hours on my lips easily, which is pretty fine for me for such a soft shade. It does not survive heavy meals and fades away leaving a light pink stain behind. So, a reapplication is required to after meals. Overall, this is a beautiful everyday shade with lesser vibrancy and more decency.
