My experience with Lakme Absolute Shine line in Smokey Grey:

I am fond of liquid eyeliners and they hold an extra special place in my vanity. The quick and ease of application along with amazing results lure me to buy more and more of them. The other day when I went for movies, I had about 10 minutes and luckily I spotted a New U store and as soon as I entered the store, Lakme SA started showing me all the new launches but I was more interested in the liners. Smokey grey was an instant yes for me and I wasted no time in picking this as I did not want to miss the movie too. Smokey grey is a gun metal grey with loads of micro shimmer particles that add a touch of extra glamour to the shade. The texture and the consistency of the liquid are smooth and just apt for the wonderful application. It’s neither runny nor it is clumpy. The applicator brush is to die for. The length of the brush, the bristles and it is so light weight that your hands just move smoothly to give the most perfect shiny line on the eyelid. It seems, Lakme has put a lot of efforts and R&D has been done to make the most perfect applicator brush.

It does not get flaky and has no problem of cracking. It’s just that you need to swipe it twice to get best results. It dries in almost no time, so no problem of smudging also. It does not sting or irritate my eyes, although it’s not mentioned on the packaging about it being dermatologically safe.

 

Overall, I am extremely happy and satisfied with the performance of Lakme absolute shine liner.

• Little streaky application.
• Need to work fast as it dries quickly, but I am totally fine with it.
