I’ve been stacking up numerous face washes these days, and I can’t believe how much I am actually using them. I always reach for my L’Oreal 20+ Facial Foam, but I am also using the Phyto rX one by Lotus Herbals. I got this facial foam recently from the Absolute range by Lakme for it was on a huge discount. 😀 I realized it hadn’t been reviewed here, so here’s the review.

My Take on Lakme Absolute Skin Gloss Facial Foam:
This time, the summer is just way too harsh to handle over here. I feel like washing my face every now and then. I was very intrigued with this one because it actually turns up in the form of ‘foam’. The bottle is quite sturdy and has a pump dispenser which is quite convenient. You can see that the cleanser is of liquid form but it gets converted to foam, which is interesting. 😀 The bottle may feel bulky to carry around though.
The foam is white in color and light in texture, like any foam would be. I thought it wouldn’t lather at all, but it lathers well. It has a mild aroma which is not that bothersome. These days I am left with a lot of dirty and oily face, so I need a good cleanser at the end of the day. This one does claim to remove dirt and impurities, and it definitely does, but I feel it is a tad mild for my liking. My skin feels fresh and moist post usage. Most cleansers leave my skin dry and stretchy at times, but this one absolutely does not.
I could really see the glossiness it left on my skin. My skin was also super smooth and soft. I use my Za Total Hydration Gel Crème after this usually and my skin never felt better. I like this one but it is a mild cleanser I feel. Dry skinned beauties will like it. One more thing is that I feel it is priced high. The foam thingy may be interesting, but not for the price. Never mind, I got it at a discount. 😀

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Lakme Absolute Skin Gloss Facial Foam?
I’d suggest this cleanser only to those who prefer something mild and do not mind the high price. I don’t see myself getting this again as it just an average product.
