By now, everyone must have become familiar with these lip pouts and Kareena’s picture with orange and pink lips. 😀 Today, I’ll be sharing with you this red shade from the same range. I really love chubby lip crayons, but never got the chance to own them. I was so excited when IMBB gave me this opportunity. Let’s get started with the review.

My Experience with Lakme Absolute Starlet Red Lip Tint Matte:

Packaging: This cutie comes in a black outer packaging that looks similar to MAC’s packaging. All the details are printed on the outer cardboard box. The lip pout comes in a red matte packaging. I absolutely love the chubby packaging and it comes in a retractable version, so you don’t have to bother about sharpening it. It comes with a silver cap that fits snugly. I love how it looks. Despite being chubby, it won’t take much space and is convenient to travel with.

Color/Texture: ‘Starlet Red’ is a beautiful red color with some orange undertones. It isn’t a proper red shade as such, but you cannot notice the difference once you apply it on the lips. I love the soft red-orange shade of it. It complements my skin tone and makes my skin look brighter. Also, it is nicely pigmented. You just need 2 swipes for a gorgeous looking pout.

Texture: The texture of this lip pout is nice and creamy. It glides on super easily on dry lips without tugging or pulling. It is matte, but it doesn’t feel dry on my lips. It somewhat moisturises them. It becomes more matte as time passes.

Staying Power: It stays on for a good 5-6 hours, but with fading. It survives meals with very little fading. Initially, it does transfer but as times passes, it won’t transfer.

Smell/Taste: It doesn’t have a particular fragrance as such. It tastes sweet though! 😛
