I am so excited to review this one for you. I have confess, I am in love. Yes, I am in love with this gorgeous beauty of an eye liner. This pretty baby is Lakme Absolute Gel Addict Gel Eyeliner in the shade Vine Yard. I guess you know the gist of my review but do read on to know how and why this left me so satisfied and happy.

My Experience With Lakme Absolute Vine Yard Gel Addict Gel Eyeliner:

This liner comes in a tiny (and I mean really tiny) glass jar. After reading several reviews and seeing numerous pictures on the internet, I thought I was prepared for the tiny quantity of this eye liner. But when I finally received the product and took it in my hands, I realized OMG! How tiny it really is! It also consists of a tiny brush for application. The brush is attached to the lid of the jar, but is easily detachable. The brush has fine bristles and is easily usable. It can be used to create lines of various thickness on the eyelids, just what a liner brush must do. The product is very travel-friendly.

I am so happy I bought this amazing shade of purple. It has shimmers in it which add to its beautiful colour. The shimmers are not too dominant and add a rainbowish hue to the brilliant purple shade.

The texture of the eyeliner is super creamy. It glides effortlessly and does not tug or pull the eyelids. It does not feel greasy at all. Though it contains shimmer, it does not feel gritty on the lids at all. It feels extremely light on the lids.

While the colour is the highlight of this gel eye liner, its colour pay-off is definitely a step behind. The shade vine yard is not crazily pigmented and appears lighter on the lids than on the hand swatch. One swipe will give you a hint of the actual shade. After two swipes, you will be left drooling over the colour. It may not be the darkest of violets, but it is a gorgeous colour with decent pay-off that could have been better for the price paid.

The staying power of this shade is good. It stayed on me for around 9-10 hours. One of its other qualities is that it is waterproof / sweat-proof. It dries quickly after 10-15 seconds of application and thereafter becomes smudge-proof, Yay! It also did not irritate my eyes considering, my eyes are super-sensitive.

I will definitely repurchase it considering there are not many purple gel eye liners available in the Indian market. I totally recommend this stunning purple shade that I am head over heels in love with.
